I am an organic chef who views food from two polar opposites: the most political thing and the most intimate thing. Politically, I grow it, intimately I cook it

Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger have jointly launched a regional investment bank worth $895 million, backed by an initial capital of 500 billion CFA francs, to fund projects in infrastructure, energy, and agriculture. The initiative brings together resources from the three mineral-rich Sahel countries major gold producers Mali and Burkina Faso, and uranium-rich Niger according to Bloomberg. Speaking after the signing ceremony in Bamako, Burkina Faso’s Finance Minister Aboubakar Nacanabo said establishing the bank is essential for financial stability, economic growth, and financing strategic development projects. To capitalise the lender, the three governments plan to rely on new tax measures. Reports indicate each country will contribute around 5% of its tax revenue, a move aimed at reducing dependence on foreign donors and gaining greater control over national development priorities. The launch comes as the three nations, which have exited ECOWAS, face political instability, climate stress, and ongoing security challenges. They have accused the regional bloc of failing to adequately support their fight against Islamist insurgencies. Mali’s Finance Minister Alousséni Sanou confirmed that the bank is now officially operational following the initial funding, adding that the next step will be appointing its leadership to mobilise additional resources across the region.

Check out my latest essay on Ibrahim Traore on my blog. I have covered a few points that I believe are critical but are not getting enough attention. Ibrahim Traore is the single most relevant personality for people of African descent globally. chefkabui.com

One thing that political, social and economic injustices have consistently done to Africans in the so called New World is that it forces them to adopt to diets that reflect the injustices. I therefore created my own rights of passage for my children using food. 9 courses in all.

@martin_njorogek Christianity as designed by the empire builders is worse than opium and will ultimately lead to our demise. It is a virus for the human software. It doesn’t matter how well built the hardware is.

Our Ancestors conducted brain surgeries since over thousands of years ago done mostly by a Herbalist which the Europeans called Witch doctors cause they never understood the science of using herbs. The patient was given lots of alcohol, then pinned down by people and the herbalist will split their skull and remove the tumor from the brain. Then cover the gape with herbs and bind the skull together with ropes made from palm fronds. Patient heals over some weeks. #Africa

These are some of the reasons Jimmy wanjigi is being hunted like an Al qaida, and being accused of planning a coup. He is opening our eyes concerning the ever elusive odious debt that we have been paying for ten years and it keeps on increasing.
