i’ve lived in a storage unit and honestly it was pretty great
the issue were the cameras so you could just disable them repeatedly and eventually the staff would stop caring
the key was to avoid staff at 5-8pm at close, and to not make noise on open around 9-10am
i had two units, and just converted one of them to living space, and it always looked like i would come in early to shuffle stuff
rent was $300 a month, and power was very easy to tap as these units were open ceiling in the units themselves
i moved out after 3 months cause i realized all the offices in the bay area were mostly abandoned, and that you could just live in those instead

This man lived in a storage unit for two months. Climate control. Running water and electricity. Real American ingenuity when rent hits $3,000+ a month.

@faustianwigger Went and saw the Northman opening week and when his mom tried to make a move on him literally every black guy in the theater yelled “oh hell no”

@LandsharkRides This feeling was why I loved climbing trees so much as a lad. Also, there's something about being so small. Everything seems bigger and grand

Sometimes, within a dream
You will receive a piece of “random” advice that won’t make sense to you until you actually act on it and reflect after the fact…
Last night i had a dream character strongly urging me to visit Sapporo the next time I go to Japan.
Just found out it’s a beer. I’ve never (to the best of my conscious recollection) even drank the beer, or heard of someone drinking it, or heard of someone going to Sapporo.
Your subconscious shouts very specific things at you FOR A REASON. I have no idea what is waiting for me there, but I will trust this message and investigate…

@WillyDiBa7 @valhalla_dev Bouncers know people get out of state fakes because they think bouncers wont know what those are supposed to look like. When in reality bouncers see all types of IDs from other states all the time
English

@valhalla_dev @cheifgun Confirm as in they’re sus about out of state fakes, or that they know about the in-state line of thinking now?
English

I worked as a bouncer in an SEC college town. I often worked the door, where I'd check ID's. I got VERY good at spotting fake ID's.
On a given Friday night, I'd get half a dozen to a dozen of them, sometimes more. I'd always warn the kids "if I turned you in to this cop right here you would catch a felony."
I never turned a kid in for a fake because you can get very serious jail time for it. I took the fake, warned my co-workers, told the kids to go away.
Catching a felony forgery charge to pay $15 for a warm beer is the stupidest possible way to throw your life away.

BREAKING: Clavicular has been criminally charged with 2 felonies for forgery & possession of dangerous drugs. He faces potentially 8 years in prison.

@WillyDiBa7 @valhalla_dev Bouncers definitely know about that line of thinking
English

@cheifgun @valhalla_dev I also never had mine taken through several years of use, got a MA fake in MA. I figured it could be a little reverse psychology cause bouncers would think you’d get an out of state fake.
English

@valhalla_dev Texas and It was a Texas fake, alot of my friends got out of state fakes because they thought the bouncers wouldn't be as familiar with those but all of them got atleast one of their pair taken
