as someone who used to work for a driving school in germany that shit mostly is stuffy german bureaucracy and greedy schools driving up the prices. Not saying it was ever as cheap as in the states but pre pandemic, late 2010s, you could get one for like 1.5k max. we‘re at 5 now.

No. I used to pay my own way because I was an idealistic feminist who was naive about how evil and dishonest men are. My crime was trusting men. That’s it. All men I dated were hot. I was 34 and had not known any “bad boys.” Engineer early stage tech CEOs aren’t usually bad boys. They are nerdy and work all the time. I was not testing men for investment. I was operating in good faith, and I believed it was fair for me to be paying for dates and paying for my own transportation. Obviously I wish I hadn’t been so naive. I wasted a lot of time with that guy and he destroyed my faith in men. So now I want other women to be smarter earlier and know to not make themselves vulnerable by being trusting and generous.
