Also, the notion that every prosumer or consumer will just vibe code or vibe-deploy OSS models stems out of being in an extremely small bubble of conversations. Average person wants peace of mind and they are willing to spend on it, they don't want to "learn" and "code" just to save a couple of hundereds or thousands of dollars.

Here is my prediction regarding AI products: People who create products using Vibe-coded projects for personal use will eventually stop doing so and switch to Agent-enabled SaaS. Why? Because it's hard to keep building and maintaining security, managing servers and dealing with products randomly breaking and bug fixes. Eventually, they will become so frustrated by this that they will start looking for an online solution so that they can focus on their core business.

Am a very optimistic person and not an AI doomer at all but how is this any praise worthy? Or even a good hook for a "film festival" invite? It's just deepfakes. People did this 7 years ago and maybe then it was amusing, but not in 2026. Is the benchmark for AI content creation so low? I don't think so.

— We can now generate and edit Hollywood-grade video [Seedance 2], speech [ElevenLabs], music [Suno] and image [Nanobanana, Midjourney]
— We have access to infinite senior software engineering code [5.3 Codex + 4.6 Opus] that is used to create these models too
— We can simulate entirely new interactive worlds [Genie] and use those worlds to teach robots
— We can do entire work tasks in English [Cowork]
— We can solve competition level math and coding problems [many] and even unsolved math problems [AlphaEvolve]
— We can write entire articles that persuade even elite industry veterans [ChatGPT]
— We can ask deep questions or chat with a therapist [ChatGPT]
— We solved the most complex games known to man: Poker, Go, Chess
— We solved protein prediction [AlphaFold]
If after this, someone says "but 95% of AI pilots fail", it's because they're using the wrong a bad product, an old product, or just haters.
The pace of AI is far outpacing the pace at which our institutions are able to keep up, and society 10 years from now is going to look extremely different from today.
