Are you thinking about starting a business? Some might think you should begin by incorporating a company, building a website, purchasing equipment, getting insurance, working on your pricing strategy, making some ads, and setting everything up. Wrong. Your first step is to go out and find 20 potential customers willing to pay for your product or service. Once you have secured at least five paying customers who commit with cash deposits, invest in the tools, deliver the product or service and collect the remaining balance for the completed job. Then repeat the process. If you’re not starting this way, you’re wasting your time. Remember: If people truly need what you’re offering, they’ll pay you today to solve their problem. If you can’t get the money, you’re not solving a real problem. It’s time to reevaluate your business idea and try again.

If you can build a business on a negative working capital then you will have built a top 1% brand and sleep like a baby.

Probably the biggest invisible bottleneck in Indian manufacturing isn't technology, capital, or even skills. It's time lags. The time from sending an RFQ to getting a simple quote. The multiple reminders needed to get a response to a simple question. The endless delays in supplies that should arrive in days stretching into weeks.... These add up. They slow down projects, kill momentum, and quietly erode competitiveness. Some are due to mindset. Some due to old habits. Some are weak systems. And yes, some are genuinely out of our control. If we can plug these time leaks, respond faster, follow up better, and build tighter processes Swadeshi manufacturing won't just grow, we will fast forward. Atmanirbhar Bharat needs speed as much as it needs scale.

Many people buy a home for acceptance and validation within society. It’s the wrong reason to buy. The recognition is temporary but the responsibility is permanent.

I don't think I should be using @WisprFlow for sending medium to large Slack messages, because while thinking and speaking I'm way too verbose. The burden of reading all of that is on multiple readers, which is not good, I think.

A company that fires people at 6am over email will one day have its own managers fired at 4am over a text. The cowardice compounds.

@priteshlakhani Have you ever thought why they do it in this manner ? It is because they need to protect against disgruntled employees security risks , they are publicly traded & hence have market risk , next union or regulatory risks as well . But they are not your level so you won't know

@patokekar You don’t do it at 6.00am. They contributed in company’s journey. They deserved respect. I wanted to say more than coward but then i wouldn’t stoop down to their level.

On telegram, hackers are taking over legit accounts and then sending calendly link with message that says “long time no see. Let’s catch up. Here’s my calendly” The links are legit calendly links. I’m not sure what the attack vector here is but better to be careful ✌️

Btw I hate using AI for product images, we have never done that. Will never do it. That’s one of the only thing left that shows your authenticity.

This is 100% right. We have this collective hallucination that enterprises are clean digital organizations... they are not. They are years of duct tape with mainframes talking to spreadsheets talking to someone's email inbox. If I remember my history class correctly, electricity existed for 30 years before factories were redesigned to use it. They literally kept the old steam engine layout and just swapped in electric motors. It took a generational turnover before someone said "wait, we can redesign the entire floor plan now." I think this is exactly where we are with AI.
Aaron Levie@levie

We dramatically underestimate how much change management it is going to take to automate most knowledge worker tasks. Between data being in legacy environments or systems or without good APIs, context missing for doing the task, teams that are less technical, and other factors, there’s still a lot of work to drive real AI transformation in an enterprise. This is actually great news if you’re building right now because the opportunity is to build the software bridges to make this easier, or to build new services firms to help with this change management. Opportunity is all around for those looking.
