@BBCWorld And that exchange followed @BowenBBC cringeworthy “interview” of Igor Brusylo, office of the president of Ukraine. Bowen was more interested at pushing his agenda against Trump and then defending Britain. This isn’t supposed to be the national inquirer.

Here’s more evidence @BBCWorld is no longer striving toward serious journalism.

Gritting my teeth and embarrassed watching @CaitrionaPerry interview @RepDonaldsPress about Trump, Ukraine and Bannon, but impressed with Donalds’ tight, on focus, fact based response and shut down of Perry’s ridiculous claim that Bannon was making a Nazi salute.

.@realDonaldTrump is correct. This could be the worst violation of journalistic ethics ever during a presidential election. @60Minutes literally manipulated @KamalaHarris answer (after the public blowback of her answer from the preview release of the excerpt) by cutting, culling, and pasting her words. This violation of the public trust requires a CEO-level intervention, acknowledgment and apology. And the viewing public needs to see the unedited, unexpurgated interview in order for the public not to be misled in the last days before the election. Anything less is a whitewash and an acknowledgment that CBS News CEO Wendy McMahon orchestrated the manipulation. Who else on the CBS team would be bold enough to do the cut and paste at the risk of destroying @60Minutes? Where is Shari Redstone on this catastrophe?

And how could @60Minutes’ manipulation occur without the consent of @KamalaHarris? Let’s not forget she is the Vice President of the United States and she is being asked about our foreign policy in the Middle East and our relationship with the leader of our principal ally in the region. Thinking about this more, the only plausible explanation is that the Vice President herself and/or her administration found that her original answer, which implied that Israel’s actions in the region were a direct result of the Biden/Harris policy, would harm her campaign and would therefore need to be expurgated from the public record. In order to execute such a violation of journalistic ethics, I would expect that CBS News CEO Wendy McMahon and possibly Shari Redstone herself would have had to approve the manipulated video. This is a story worthy of investigative journalism from real journalists. Where are they? Where are the whistleblowers? Or are all of them so ideologically compromised that they are prepared to sacrifice the truth and their integrity in an effort to elect their favored candidate?

@TurnbullWhitby You have it backward: stop taking our money, giving back a portion, and acting like you’re doing us something great. You’re not. Further, get some objective scientific data, not the biased stuff you’re basing your extremist political opinions on, esp. re: Climate change.
