The thought of contesting for House Assembly in my state feels enticing honestly. Those people do nothing and go so unnoticed…

I’m Stranded in Lagos guys I Need Your Support 🙏 Hi, my name is Esther Ubak. I came all the way from Akwa Ibom State to Lagos for an exhibition, full of hope and excitement, dreaming that this trip would open doors for my craft and creativity. I’m a startup without funding anywhere, and to make this trip possible, I had to borrow money from friends, gather materials, and cover my travel expenses, all with the hope that the exhibition would be a success. But things didn’t turn out as I expected. The exhibition didn’t go as planned, and now, I’m faced with the reality of having to refund every single amount I borrowed. I really need the support I can get right now. So here I am, still in Ajah, Lagos, with all the beautiful, handcrafted, upcycled pieces I brought along. I cannot go back home until they are sold, and every piece carries the love, time, and creativity I poured into it. Below this post are the products available for pickup, each with its price tag clearly displayed. So If you’re in Lagos and love unique art, this is your chance to grab something special. 📍 Location: Ajah, Lagos 📲 To order: Screenshot your favorite piece(s) and DM me on WhatsApp: +2347080501180 If you can’t afford a piece right now, you can still share this post, refer a friend, or invite someone who might love them. Your support, big or small really means the world and can help turn this setback into a blessing. 🙏

- My thoughts on this. In those days, using a hall wasn’t the thing. The groom and his family goes to the bride’s house to take his wife. - Obviously, the bride’s family will foot the bill since they are the ones hosting and doing “Alejo” - But with the use of halls and the present economy. One family covering all the bills isn’t sustainable. In fact the couples are the ones covering their wedding bills.

They said I’m distorting history, for research purposes If you’re a Yoruba bride who got married in the last 15 years, did your parents sponsor your wedding? And to what extent?

Peter Obi’s academic journey started at Christ the King College, Onitsha, before he went on to study Philosophy at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Over the years, he continued to build himself through executive programs at institutions like Harvard Business School, London School of Economics, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, and The Wharton School. But what really stands out is how much he values education beyond certificates. He has consistently supported schools across Nigeria with donations, infrastructure, and learning resources. For him, education isn’t just something you talk about, it’s something you invest in, because it’s key to building a better, working Nigeria. With Peter Obi, Nigeria’s educational system will be OK ✌🏻.

Just so you’re aware, many of your influencers have reportedly aligned with the APC–Tinubu camp. I was approached myself, and I declined. Stay alert and keep yourself informed. The next few days are likely to get intense on this app, so be ready. Peter Obi or NOTHING📍 ✌🏿

I no too blame that bros. If doctors were being paid well in this country, he wouldn't have had the need to be moving like a banger boy at his big uncle age.

For the first time in a long while, Nigerians are feeling like they actually have a real say in who leads them, in the person of Peter Obi and Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso. This is a big shift from the usual system where a few people in political parties sit somewhere and decide who gets presented to millions of Nigerians. And maybe that’s why there’s so much pushback. Because for once, the people are insisting on being part of the decision. It also shows something important: the real coalition is the people. When citizens come together and say enough is enough, and decide to choose their own leaders, there’s really no stopping that kind of movement. The OK ticket reflects the true essence of democracy. A government of the people, by the people, and for the people. #NigeriaWillBeOk

This morning, in Lagos, I met with the U.S. Consul General, Mr Rick Swart, where we discussed strengthening the bilateral relationship. We focused on promoting credible elections in Nigeria, ensuring they are free from interference, and fostering a space where all political parties, especially opposition parties can thrive, and contribute. We also discussed trade and business opportunities between our countries. Accompanying me to the meeting was Dr Adefolaseye Adebomi Adebayo. The discussion was very productive, and we are hopeful that, moving forward, Nigeria’s elections will be even more credible and transparent. -PO
