@RobbyBerger Go to range. Put wedge under back foot (heel of shoe on face of club handle of club sticking out behind you). Swing..keeping the weight on back foot. For me it kept the trail hip from moving toward the ball which caused me to heel shank everything. This drill helped.

Shank % has moved up to 65%… the “hit it on the toe” swing thought actually really helped but still open to more swing thoughts. I’m as desperate as it gets here

@StevePa81682503 @KylePorterNS Scottie struggles to hit that low draw needed for 18. Look at both of his last two approaches in to 18.

The bubble of irrational and unsustainable Saudi funding that led to grossly overpaying greedy golfers is the crux of why LIV is met with hate by (primarily US-based) golf fans at large. I don’t want LIV to die. I do want the best players in the world to play against each other on the same tour again. LIV in 2027 probably looks more like the Asian Tour. Tiny purses, playing for a share of the actual revenue they can generate via sponsors and O&O monetization (TV deals & commercials, merch, ticketing, etc.). We will see the best players walk back the “grow the game” rhetoric when the Saudi well runs dry. Good players (Bryson, Rahm, Hatton, Niemann) will bend over backwards to get back on the PGA Tour. Old veterans (Poulter, McDowell, Westwood, Bland) may stick it out on LIV and play for peanuts. The rest will be caught in limbo. Incredible hubris and humility on display and I cannot wait to see it all unfold.

If LIV did fold it would be great to see Cam Smith playing great again. I feel like nobody’s golf has suffered more by going to LIV. The easy/lazy answer is he cashed out but none of us know his practice regime, etc. Maybe it just didn’t suit him? Didn’t fire him up to play great golf? He got to world no2, won the Open and Players in 2022. He was a really gutsy player under pressure. Plus his putting was 🔥 I hope to see him back at the top.

@3jackbandit @mrmckee I agree laSasso would have struggled. He failed to make cuts in pga tour starts. He got hot on the right week to win NCAA title. Great pr and rode the hype train.

Guys like Rahm, Bryson, Hatton etc will be fine. Either the PGA Tour or DP Tour will gladly open the door for them. I'm concerned about the young stars who opted for LIV like McKibbin, Surratt, Ballester & La Sasso. Where will they go? What now for Anthony Kim?

⛳️ Golf After 60 🏌‍♀️🏌‍♂️
Why dislike the @USGA GHIN 9-hole calcution: Played a quick nine, shot a tidy 38. If I had played the back and shot another 38, it would have been a 5.4 differential. But I didn't - I turned in the 38, and GHIN gave it a 9.4 differential. Which equates to a score of 80.5 at my course. Which means GHIN gave me a 42.5 on the back - a 4.5 stroke increase over the front nine. Doesn't sound like "demonstrated ability" to me. 🤷‍♂️

A lifetime exemption is a privilege extended by Augusta to its champions out of respect. If that respect is not reciprocated, there is no law that says a past champ cannot be banned. I’m not sure they should have Sergio Garcia back after the garbage he pulled today. #themasters

@DaveRaffe2024 @scNme43 @NUCLRGOLF You do understand this was 3 hours before the leaders teed off. A group featuring two past champions who both happened to be from Spain. So yes for this time in the tournament Sergio and Rahm paired together would definitely be a featured group.

Anyone else watching @TheMasters and feeling... jaded this year? Maybe I'm biased, but wish these guys were invited to take a crack at the green jacket. Don't get me wrong, I love Augusta and have been watching since the covid lockdowns. But the tradition of the tournament feels stale compared to this family of creators and what they built grassroots style on youtube.

Bob has some good insights here to the question of why won't Tiger just hire a driver. (Which he may have to do if his license is suspended for a year under Florida law.) The simple answer is he does not want to. He likes being behind the wheel. He hates to give up control.
