Disagree with his politics all you want because that is the beauty of democracy, but let’s not lie about pedigree. Dear Obidients, I hate that I’ve to write this. Peter Obi’s support base is far bigger than the NDC Party. Millions of Nigerians from APC, PDP, NNPP, ADC, and even politically unaffiliated voters backed him in 2023, and many will do so again in 2027. That is exactly why every disagreement or moves should not be treated as betrayal. Obi is human. He will not get every decision right, and not everyone who questions him is an enemy. If you attack every dissenting voice, you won’t protect the movement, you’ll shrink it. A winning coalition is built by persuasion, not by chasing away the very people whose votes you still need.
