I currently prefer one-sided ranges, because I don't really see $HYPE dropping much more than it currently has. This price action is temporary, if you're panicking, you need to zoom out. Q4 is going to be good and Q1 2026 even better. August is always rough, so make sure you're in capital preservation mode. LPing is a good way of doing this, as you're not as affected by price variations and you get to collect fees. @prjx_hl came out with a new liquidity pool today, a HYPE/USDT pool with a lower fee tier. This attracts more volume as people swapping pay less fees. The play today was to rotate from the traditional 0.3% pool to the 0.05% pool. Although you earn less fees for each swap, there is significantly more volume. Today, the APR on the 0.05% pool was at 274.42% vs the 0.3% pool at 173.43% pool. I ended up profiting on some shorts I had when I was farming perp exchange volume (doing this for points, check my article on how to farm 12 airdrops at once, it's in the tweet below). I fell out of range on my position last night due to the dump that happened, but rebalanced added ~$12k to the position, putting me at a $45k position. @prjx_hl extended the bonus points until phase 2 drops. It's definitely a good idea to focus on @prjx_hl as much as possible at the moment. Now is when you want to be pouring your money into liquidity pools, the multiplier is nothing to sleep on. It was an exciting time, haven't seen the timeline this pumped in a very long time. Didn't really expect us to break through $50 though, but had to rebalance because my ranges were pretty bad. The best thing in this moment imo is setting an upper limit of $50.25 or $50.50. I guarantee that you will absolutely print this way. I still don't see $HYPE going past $50 yet, maybe in a month or so, but I could be wrong. ETH and BTC failing to break ATH/barely breaking isn't great, but like I have said many times, it's temporary. Q4 is going to be a different story. Every dip at the moment is a HUGE buying opportunity. I hope you've been taking advantage of it like I have been. @prjx_hl has been loving the volatility we have been seing. APRs were SUPER high over the last 48 hours, $300k in fees generated for a platform that is a year old is absolutely wild. Lots of really interesting pools at the moment as well. HYPE/USDe's APR was very high in comparison to other stables yesterday. I personally am a huge fan of $ENA and $USDe, I was thinking of reopening on HYPE/USDe last night, but I'm extremely bullish on kPoints (check my point valuation sheet from yesterday), so I don't think it's quite worth it to switch. Better to stick to kHYPE/USDT0 at the moment if you ask me. I also believe Kinetiq's season will be relatively short. Inflation came in significantly higher than expected (who would have guessed). Trump is still calling for rate cuts and Powell will be replaced in 2026. Why does he want rate cuts if they are inflationary? Is it because the U.S. has no other way to get rid of their unsustainable debt other than hyperinflation? Is it because Trump and his family have made over $4b from crypto related ventures and are heavily invested into risk assets and real estate (things that will all go parabolic if the U.S. reaches hyperinflation?) I don't know, maybe I'll write an article on what I think will happen. Regardless, it looks like my previous stance of August being a rocky month was correct. Alts getting absolutely slaughtered at the moment, huge liquidations on ETH & BTC (despite a mere 3% move). Degens are out in full force losing their savings while we calmly stack $kHYPE, kPoints and generate over 200% APR. $kHYPE/USDT's APR has been higher than regular HYPE/USDT which is quite interesting. Not questioning it though, very glad to be accumulating kPoints through the LP. kPoints are being slept on, Pendle's YT even more. Back to high yields despite a conservative range that we still haven't needed to touch. I do however want to make a change to my position soon. I've started doing more research on Kinetiq and Pendle. I also did some calculations on what points on Kinetiq could be worth. I came to quite a few conclusions. One of them was that buying a @HypioHL with a Kinetiq trait that yields me ~150 kPoints per week is an absolute no brainer. Estimates are putting kPoints @ $7-$18 per point, which, pessimist outlook at $7 nets us $1,050 a week or 23.33 HYPE/week. I bought this Hypio for 300 $HYPE. By the time the 16 weeks of Kinetiq points are over, this Hypio has paid for itself (and I retain the Hypio, unlike Pendle's YT). Heavily slept on and this is without considering all the other incentives (10% increased Hyperlend points, airdrops, etc.) Spending this time looking into it all made me realize that there's basically no reason not to be farming $kHYPE/$USDT. You're farming in the same way, the APY is virtually the same, however you're accruing kPoints at the same time. It may not end up being a crazy amount, but if you know me, you know that I'm all about capturing small gains where I can. I've been in this for 11 years and I'm never woken up to moonshot, it's always been a steady grind up. It's probably the same reason why I've never been liquidated or fully wiped out. Do yourself a favor and switch to $kHYPE/$USDT, you won't regret. On a sidenote, BTC dominance is trending downwards for the first time in 3 years. I didn't expect it to go much higher, I don't personally think we're ready for $50 yet. Once we get to $50, we go into price discovery mode, which should be exciting. It's all lining up to be a parabolic run; favorable conditions through rate cuts, positive government regulation, Trump's WLFI push for DeFi. I'm taking advantage of every dip to accumulate more $HYPE, all while farming the sideways choppy action through @prjx_hl. My new range is [42.87 - 47.47], which I find is quite comfy. Good APR, good point gains, can't ask for much more. If the strategy changes, I'll let you all know, but for the moment it remains the same. @prjx_hl keeps hitting new ATH's every day, even with the funky price movements, which is a big plus. I can see us hitting $100m+ TVL in the next week or two. So excited for what the team has coming for us, they've been proving time and time again that what matters to them is what the community wants. I personally love it. Stacking points, stacking yield; all while not having to constantly check price. Barely got any points yesterday and dropped two ranks. I guess my ranges were too conservative (-5%/+7%) and people were running with tighter ranges in HYPE/USDT or were doing PUMP/HYPE. I can't complain though, very happy with the yield considering how much monitoring of the position I did. Allowed me to start farming volume on DEX's for potential airdrops too. Still unhedged on my HYPE, very cozy with the position. I don't see HYPE dropping much more. If it does, I'm happy to accumulate. Sidenote: @prjx_hl is the project that has generated the most fees on HyperEVM over the last 24 hours [they launched 3 weeks ago] Over my last 10 years in crypto, I've rarely felt this much conviction for a project.
