GREAT BRITAIN'S DIRTIEST SECRET
Or: What Really Happened While You Were at Woodstock
"Everybody’s got skeletons. Most people keep them in the closet. Great Britain buried theirs under three million dead children and called it foreign policy.
Here’s the secret they’ve spent fifty-five years hoping you’d never connect..."

Our current education system is not designed for global competitiveness, rather for exams.
From primary school to university, Nigerian students spend years mastering how to pass Common entrance, BECE, WAEC, JAMB, Post-UTME, Semester exams etc.
But the world outside Nigeria is not asking:
“Can you pass an exam?”
The world is asking:
• Can you build things?
• Can you solve complex problems?
• Can you innovate?
• Can you compete globally?
Look at the countries dominating the modern economy:
Germany – engineering and manufacturing
South Korea – electronics and industrial technology
China – global manufacturing powerhouse
United States – innovation and research
Their education systems are deeply connected to industry, skills, and innovation.
Nigeria’s system is connected to syllabus completion and exam performance.
That’s why we produce millions of graduates every year that struggle to find a job.
Why are we educating young Nigerians for the world that actually does not exist?
Until we redesign our education system around problem-solving, technical mastery, and industry relevance, we will keep producing certificates instead of competitiveness.

Germany didn’t become an industrial powerhouse by sending everyone to university.
They built something smarter.
It’s called Ausbildung, a structured apprenticeship system where young people earn while they learn inside real companies.
A 17-year-old in Germany can train to become:
• a mechatronics engineer
• an industrial technician
• an automotive systems expert
• a precision machinist
• a medical equipment technician
They are paid during training.
They graduate with globally respected skills.
And many of them end up earning more than university graduates.
Over 50% of German youth pass through this system.
Now look at Nigeria.
We push everyone into universities.
Millions graduate every year.
But the country is still importing basic technical expertise.
We have degrees but we don’t have enough skills.
This is why we are studying the German Ausbildung model closely to implement in the South East.
Because the South East must lead Africa’s skills revolution.
Imagine a structured apprenticeship system across Aba, Nnewi, Onitsha, Enugu and beyond where young people can train to become:
• industrial fabricators
• automotive engineers
• robotics technicians
• electronics specialists
• renewable energy installers
• precision manufacturing experts
Training will happen inside real companies.
With structured certification, modern tools and clear career paths.
Not the informal “Igba Boy” system, but a world-class apprenticeship ecosystem.
The South East already has the largest concentration of indigenous manufacturers and traders in Africa.
What we need now is structure, technology, and certification.
If Germany can power Europe’s manufacturing through apprenticeships, there is no reason the South East cannot power Africa’s industrial future.
The next generation of millionaires in Africa will not only be software founders.
Many will be master craftsmen, engineers, and industrial builders.
And when Africa finally fixes its skills crisis, history may remember that the revolution started in the South East.

@ChuksEricE Odumeje was born in 1982, if he took her in 30 years ago, (like a father) that would mean 1996 when Odumeje was 13 plus, that's really next to incredible.

“Transfer of ownership of the Benin objects.” That was the official title of a media event in Zurich this week, announcing the return of looted Benin Bronzes to Nigeria. Not “return.” Not “restitution.”
Transfer of ownership.
And on a day like today, March 21, the International Day Against Racism, that wording stayed with me even more. Because it reflects something deeper about how history is told, softened, and sometimes rewritten.
And for me, this conversation is personal. In my latest blog post, I reflect on racism not just as a system, but as something lived across generations in my own family. From my stepfather, to my husband, to my children growing up between cultures..
If you have a moment, I would love for you to read and share your thoughts.

Iran has kept the Straight of Hormuz toll-free for decades despite being vilified, sanctioned, and Isolated.
Egypt charges $300,000 – $700,000+ per transit through the Suez Canal. Ultra-large container ships or tankers can exceed $1 million.
Panama charges $150,000 – $450,000 per transit. Large Neopanamax ships cost up to $500,000+ to pass the Panama Canal.
Turkey charges fees for the Bosporus Strait.
Canada charges fees for the St Lawrence Seaway.
The United States charges for the St Lawrence Seaway.
But Iran is a bad country.

@FabrizioRomano I think you are all getting it wrong, Chelsea are in this situation because him and Palmer are not performing well. I would sell him off without blinking. Chelsea need two smart, sharp and fearless attacking midfielders and we are back to the glory days

My heart breaks as I type this, please repost this so we can give awareness and massive support to Daniel.
PS: every information being shared is only shared with permission from his direct family members acting in his interest.
As I visited Ogun State today, a young, promising young man was brought to my attention who is currently battling with the jaws of death. He has been diagnosed of brain tumor, and months ago he started treatment but in the course of treatment, he could no longer afford it due to heavy financial constraints on him and his family members.
The tumor as shown in the MRI result has created a mass effect affecting key parts of his brain, including his eyes, he’s currently unable to see now.
So far, he’s been to both public and private hospitals for treatment. Treatment initially started but due to cost and financial constraints, the family, having raised over 5 million naira for his treatment, could not keep up, and had no other choice than to take him back home.
On examination, I realized that his urethral catheter had been left unchanged for close to one month, as real time evidence of lack of funds to provide care. I immediately had to purchase new catheter with urine bag and replaced it myself in preparation for us trying to get him back to a hospital that can adequately care for him. There are already signs of complications like Urinary Tract Infection based on my clinical review. His nasogastric tube has been replaced too and I also spoke with the Doctor on ground as well who is trying to help in every possible way.
No one should suffer like this.
Right now, based on my own review, our best line of action is to get Daniel back to the hospital system for urgent stabilization, possible placement of a cranial shunt to drain the excess cerebrospinal fluid, and prepare/ optimize him for a brain surgery. A FBC, Urinalysis, Electrolyte, Urea and Creatinine had been ordered today.
We are hoping to raise 15 million naira, but every single naira counts. Here’s how you can help Daniel.
1. Donate to help Daniel get back to the hospital system so he can afford the care he needs (Intensive Neurosurgical care). To track our donations, please make a bank transfer to FCMB 4107700013 Olawale Ogunlana
PS. The status of this account will be shared transparently on a daily basis on this platform.
2. Repost this message to your timeline
3. Say a kind prayer for Daniel in the comment section.
Please, @the_beardedsina @Wizarab10 @maxvayshia @oku_yungx @ogshia @HenshawKate and every of my well meaning colleagues and community members, please help me raise this. Your kindness to Daniel is a gift to yourself being paid forward. Nothing is too small to save him.
Thank you all and God bless you.

@CryptoDefiLord It is naive and childish to assume there will be peace in that region once America pulls out, you obviously have no idea about the root of the conflict.
English

@Blue_Footy It's not the defense, it's our midfield. When ur midfield is compact and threatening, your defense looks good, it's when your attack is toothless and ur opponents don't see a reason to retreat that people start thinking u have a problem at the back.

You want to take your white rice to the next level? Just add garlic.
Do not grind the garlic, just peel and drop it inside the rice. Then also add bay leaves.
The quantity you are adding should depend on the size you are cooking. Remove the garlic and the bay leaves once the rice is done. The taste eeeeeeh.

Here's what I don't understand. So, a prosperous and peaceful people group is hijacked at gunpoint by the British, shackled to an animalistic, blood-thirsty regime with which they've never been united, they are killed by the millions when they seek liberation, their wealth is plundered, they are endlessly mocked and marginalized and locked out of power -- and then, when they dare speak up for fairness and freedom, they are labeled terrorists? Please make this make sense...
