I talk to engineers at other companies every day and hear the same thing: one person is 10x'ing their output with Claude but the rest of the org hasn't caught up. Watching teams adopt AI, I keep seeing the same 4 steps. I mapped them out here: Steps of AI Adoption claude.ai/code/artifact/…

i’m pretty convinced that LISP is the highest-IQ programming language absolute S-tier reflection. if you use a derivative like 3-LISP I’d say you can even hit SS+ tier with it’s meta-circular interpreters. my own runtime reflection lib for C++ probably brought the language from C-tier (c++26 static) to B-tier (runtime)…but it’s still a far cry away from how crazy LISP can get

@headius I think it’s more a function of who and how the LLM is used. Low experienced dev + llm = low experience code High experience dev + bad context + llm = bad code High experience dev + good context + llm = high quality and good code.

The more I see pull requests from LLMs and experiment with it myself the more convinced I am that it produces just about the worst code I've ever seen. Not just bad on style, but inefficient, often incorrect, and usually the wrong approach. It "works" in the loosest sense.

Obsidian is weird: - 7 full-time employees - ~1 million users per employee - fully remote - 1 in-person meetup per year - no scheduled meetings - no stand-ups - deep focus is prioritized - our manifesto guides our product What works for us may not work for you.

OpenAI is cooked… Anthropic won the enterprise market thanks to their narrow focus on coding. It now projects higher revenue than OpenAI in 2029, and targets turning FCF positive by 2028 while OpenAI doesn’t expect to turn FCF positive before 2030. OpenAI is a sinking ship.
