I am living here , I know the situation first hand , don’t wait to be told . Yes , we gave up the Enosis dream for independence. Turkey needs to take its 40,000 troops out of the island and our EU membership guarantees all the islanders peace and prosperity . On top of that NATO membership will make Cyprus and Turkey allies so Cyprus never to present a threat to it.

We never initiated any crimes against the Turkish Cypriots . During EOKA fighting the English , the colonizers used the TC as special police against us. Copying what they did in India a few years back .During the coup of 1974 MONE was harmed . So, stop the bullshits . We wanted Enosis because we are a Greek island for thousand of years . We sought Enosis not as a punishment for our fellow TC , but as a judge cause of our fight against the British
