Europeans can’t comprehend that you can live in nyc, take a 5-6 hours flight to San Francisco and you’re in the same country and don’t need to do anything about your phone. No extra charge for service.
In Europe you drive 10 min from Austria to Germany to buy cheaper groceries and you have to avoid using your phone because you’ll get extra charges as it’s another country and another cell provider.
That’s why euros use WhatsApp.
Most communications in the U.S. even far away in another state, don’t cost you more.

Why don’t Americans use WhatsApp?????

It's amazing that even 120 years ago people ascribed "I can has cheeseburger" dialect to cats

I like the $10,000 per year in former car expenses that I started putting in index funds in 2001 when I permanently gave up car dependence (ask me about compounding) but I like even more reading books/napping while all the enraged drivers lose their minds on the bridge above me.

I don’t understand people who like public transit. How can you possible enjoy being stuck in a moving vehicle with people you don’t know? Ew.

@devilfruitbat The fact that so many of you don't understand that garlic powder and onion powder create a different flavor profile than fresh garlic and onion really drives it home how culinarily handicapped you guys are over there.

@ratxgurl I used to feed 8 or 9 cats on my porch at night. One night there seemed to be one extra and turned out one was a big groundhog. They were all just handing out together.

@NoblestCalling IF YOU WERE TALKING TO AN ALIEN RACE, farenheit makes more sense. If you tell someone it's 78 degrees, aka 78% hot, THAT'S EASY TO APPROXIMATE. WTF? IS 24? 24 WHAT?!!!
English

Fahrenheit is superior because it's basically telling you what % hot it is

Celsius is 100% the dumbest way to measure temperature

@lieumle shes very……particular? like, if she technically owns something (even stuff she bought for the house communally) she’ll make sure to remind you of it, so when she moved out im assuming she just swept through the house going “mine mine mine technically mine mine” lmao
