His BrokerCheck report shows he is employed by Bradley Woods & Co. Ltd. in New York. Tomorrow (Feb 11) is Elections BC's deadline to respond to my Supreme Court of BC lawsuit. I'll post updates as soon as I hear anything.
Today, the OIPC responded on one of my early FOl reconsideration requests bringing the total to 3 denials for basic election records (tabulator tapes and ballot accounts) from every riding.
Section 275(1) of the Election Act clearly entitles the public to copies of these inspectable records for reasonable reproduction costs. Yet requests face recharacterization, denials, one-day timelines, multi-thousand-dollar fees, and now reliance on FOIPPA s. 3 to exclude them entirely despite earlier indications of possible access.
This shift is deeply disappointing and inconsistent with the law's intent.
