@AestheticGamer1 I hope RE 0 REMAKE or RE1 REMAKE will be designed to be played both with and without co-op in mind. In other words you'll get the classic survivivsl horror experience depending on if you choose to play solo or with a partner.

(2/2) something automatically makes it fun. It can make a bad game a tiny bit more fun, but it's still a bad game. Game design still applies, though I'd say co-op game design has some differences in how to design a game to be fun for co-op vs single player.

(1/2) There's to a point you're correct, but also past that point you're incorrect. As someone who has played a LOT of co-op horror games, there 100% is just crappy co-op games you drop quickly & very noticeable variations in quality. It's not actually as simple as slapping co-op

@AestheticGamer1 Co-op is a cheat code for making a fun game. You can have the buggiest, worst piece of shit ever and I can have fun on it with a friend, but a good co-op game slaps harder than almost anything My current dream is an RE0 remake with true co-op, in the RE2R survival horror style

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is the best RE game, and still disappointed that the remake let OG down🚀 It’s also a shame that dodging/pushing mechanics were rarely added back after RE3, and often replaced with a knife or other breakable gadgets🥹 #REBHFun

(1/2) I also will mention, despite all of the character polls I'm doing, the only playable characters in Resident Evil Requiem are Grace Ashcroft & Leon Kennedy. Maybe a little Alyssa, unclear if she's saved more fully for DLC or if she has a playable bit somewhere in base RE9.
