I’m not buying it, 2019 and again in 2020, Iran massively shut in oil production, along with everyone else. Lived off sub 500k p/d exports for years with price dramatically lower than today.

My theory on why no NBA team has won multiple rings since 2019 is simple:
The 3 point shot is extremely volatile and creates a lot more randomness to the outcome of games. It's the ultimate equalizer for lesser talented teams.
Role players matter more than ever before, the days of 1 superstar "carrying" teams to rings is done. OKC has a superstar, 2 other all-stars, and at least 5-6 quality rotational players. Which is why they're probably gonna be the 1st team since the KD Warriors to stack multiple rings. Even then, they got pushed to 7 twice last year.
It's a much different sport than the one you watched as a kid.

All the news about oil prices going up and down is pure market vibes at this point, because the "oil price" that gets commonly reported is a price for oil futures. It's speculatory.
Follow what people are paying for oil in a tank at their dock and you'll be alarmed.

Costs for food companies jumped 7.9% yoy in March (vs. 4.2% in Feb.)
This is basically just from higher fuel costs - we're still waiting for the impact of higher fertilizer, plastics, etc.

Lebron gets to play 1 on 1 all game cause he has snipers everywhere around him while Kevin Durant has to deal with 2-3 bodies cause no one respects anyone on the rockets , then the team can’t even score on 4v3 advantages that kd ends up creating

That’s what separates Bron from players like KD. KD can go band for band with anyone in terms of shotmaking. But you play sound defense and trap schemes on him, and he is liable to unravel.
You can’t do that with Bron. He finds Rui or Smart in the corner or Hayes cutting to the rim. You can’t scheme him out, no matter how hard you try.
