Some Japanese commenters complained that tourists don’t understand the “eat and leave” culture of ramen, soba, and other Japanese fast food shops. They said that Western tourists, in particular, are used to long, leisurely meals filled with conversation. buff.ly/w2DUN28

A more unilateralist West will only compel the Global South to diversify its options. The world now turns within a tightening orbit of bipolarity, anchored by the United States and China, where over USD 100 trillion in liquidity remains trapped within developed economies. For Southeast Asia, with 700 million people and a GDP nearing USD 4 trillion, the task is to preserve its option value: the flexibility to engage all sides while sustaining peace, autonomy, and modernization. It is, after all, our historical instinct, rooted in Asia Africa Conference in Bandung, 1955, when Sukarno, Nasser, Nehru, and Zhou Enlai envisioned a world beyond domination, which gives birth to The Non-Aligned Movement. Today, as platforms like BRICS rise, their promise will be tested by whether they can democratize technological and economic capital, the twin currencies that define modernity for Southeast Asia. But capital follows trust, and trust follows competence. To attract it, nations must close the gap between power and talent, letting merit prevail over patronage. The future of democratized capital depends on human capital, on deeper investments in STEM to better our chances in translating uncertainties, integrity, and governance. Only when our people learn to translate uncertainty into measurable risk, and to navigate the world’s economic interconnections, can Southeast Asia turn optionality into power, and power into shared progress. First task of Takaichi as the new japanese prime minister: ✅Offend the Malaysians, by venerating Japanese invaders of Malaysia during WW2, in Malaysia. Next stop is South Korea, is she going to praise her Japanese ancestors for the forced prostitution of Comfort Women? This tone deaf woman have gotten used to venerating war criminals in Japan, she's doesn't think this is offensive to anyone outside of her own country.

We cannot allow Chinese criminals to run wild upon our own citizens on American soil. American citizens deserve better vetting to block those with CCP loyalty and the criminally inclined.

whenever my non filipino leftist oomfs glaze china too much i get really scared
