@LPVT802 Libertarianism is the only political ideology which is big enough to account for the complexity of humanity. That is its great promise. But that is diminished so long as we squabble over things that do not violate the NAP and are therefore not our problem.

@LPVT802 Nothing I have said contradicts natural rights and the equality of individuals before the law. Love and hate are not so one dimensional. Quite often we hate family members and yet still love them at the same time. Humans are complicated. You are painting with a broad brush.

"Paleo" libertarianism is antithetical to the NAP and to the spirit of human freedom. Anyone can call themselves anything - but what *moves* them to act? Hate? Or love for their fellow human?

Dave Smith and Josh Smith (among far too many others) are trying to act like they're fervent, principled, anti war voices of reason. Yet both of them positively affirmed endorsements for the commander in chief who started this latest war in Iran. Their combined years in politics is proof beyond a shadow of a doubt they knew the sort of man Trump is. They knew the abundant deficiencies in his character but ignored them to ride the wave of his popularity with their respective fan bases. Instead of calling him out as the liar he is, they chose to bury their heads in the sand and keep their popularity. They drank the kool-aid willingly, and they have ZERO excuse to not have known something like this would happen. State party accounts retweeting either of them (or similarly morally compromised influencers) is precisely why the liberty movement is so broken. And we can only begin to heal it by rejecting this kind of poison for what it is. Can people change? Yes. Our whole movement, and our party itself, is premised on the fact that people can change. But to endorse Trump (especially after his first disastrous term) is to fully repudiate libertarianism, and, for that matter, basic human decency. NOTA was always a valid option.

A Syrian immigrant and his brother brutally raped Swedish woman Petra. Petra is no longer with us. She ended her own life. This amount is three times what Petra was supposed to receive from him for brutally raping her ($30,000), and the Swedish Enforcement Agency is not allowed to seize this money to pay Petra. After his release, he continued committing crimes and has still not been deported, despite being sentenced to deportation. The Swedish court system spares the wolf and sacrifices the sheep.

@EpochTimesCan @jeffreytucker "not a question of data but a question of values" gets at the heart of the issue. Economic valuation is just that: an expression of values. Distortions by gov't intervention destroy a nation's values the same as it destroys wealth. The two cannot be separated.
