@GelNerd James Bond perished with Pierce. We will never get a classic Bond movie adventure again. It’s all gonna be overly serious, sour mopey trash or this kinda thing

I’ve felt a real shift in #JamesBond joy since the films imploded, with turgid novels, recycled tat and long studio delays. I’ve just not felt any desire to invest in #FirstLight. A random 007 origin game wrapped up as another noisy shooter. I miss the old days.🍸

@GelNerd I mean as a game it looks good, but as James Bond it looks like shit. The last thing anybody needs is another goddamn origin storyline y

TRENDING: #GIANTS STAR JAXSON DART IS AN ELITE HUNTER AND SPENDS A LOT OF TIME IN THE OFF-SEASON HUNTING. Dart killed rare Turkeys here and even went viral last year killing a mountain lion. Dart became a licensed big-game hunter at age 10 in Utah. 🤯

Rockstar Games is truly the GOAT of the gaming industry. GTA 5 and RDR2 are already sitting at the #2 and #3 spots among the best-selling games of all time. GTA 6 has a real chance to become the #1 best-selling game of all time. Agree or not?

What’s a 10/10 movie performance that rarely gets mentioned in “greatest ever” discussions?

@Y0KE_ THIS is why there’s less excitement for Star Wars and it’s diluted brand. It ain’t cause of the sequel trilogy whether you liked them or not. It’s because of this fucking half assed Disney+ Star Wars, bullshit.

@BeAfraid_Horror I mean, there’s actually something really sweet If you get the opportunity like mid week just go catch a movie in a real honest theater late matinee and usually nobody’s around you..you get your big popcorn.. it’s quiet.. it’s maybe the best way to do it

This thinking is backwards imo. The Steelers offensive design was fine under Arthur Smith. He was hindered by the QB and personnel, not the other way around, and had to adjust the scheme to make it work. We didn’t get to see the real Art Smith offense in 2025. In 2026, the scheme is *different* and more suited to the QB, and the personnel is clearly better. The limitation of the QB is still there, and so the ceiling of the offense is still low imo.

Welllllll not entirely. Rocky I is great. No doubts. But it goes Rocky 3, Rocky IV and then Rocky 2. People seem to focus on the last section of Rocky 2 and think it makes it a great film. It doesn't. No one wants to see Rocky being kept from fighting by his wife and ridiculed for his speech impediment or lack of intelligence or shamed out of a job. We don't want a Rocky like that. Rocky V bitterly proved that point. Rocky 3 and Rocky IV are full of angst that we like as fans. In III, he gets cocky, loses his manager and has to overcome this massive muscle bound fighter and his own doubts to succeed. In IV, he has to avenge the death of his friend right when he was ready to let it all go and train like never before to overcome a steroid bound Russian freak of nature...for America (a bit cheesy, but still a fun film). That's inspirational stuff. Rocky 2 gets too bogged down in portraying real life, but without the underdog inspiration we saw in the first Rocky. It's what keeps the film from fully being better than III or IV.
Andrew Fillipponi@ThePoniExpress

Random Take: Rocky I and Rocky II are so much better than Rocky III and Rocky IV. And it boggles my mind how many people disagree with this take.

Christopher Nolan has mastered the art of making his films appear to be deep at first glance, but on the second watch revealing just how superficial and pretentious they really are. Has anyone actually been able to enjoy a movie of his on the second viewing?

Heath Ledger will forever be the best Joker ever. It’s so sad that he never got to see how much people truly appreciated his performance.

Streaming services killed movie nights and made everything bland as hell. Let’s be real, streaming killed actual movie culture. You spend 20 minutes picking something then settle for some bland-ass Netflix original that’s forgettable as hell. Streaming made entertainment “easy,” but it also sucked the soul out.
