@RalphyHeraldSun Settle Ralph, be positive. Unfortunately that’s how it played out. But each and every player is tested prior to and this didn’t work out.
How would Sydney captain Cal Mills feel to be ruled out this week when Logan McDonald played and looked proppy from the first minutes of the game with his ankle injury and was a non-factor?
I think we can rule out the Caulfield Cup now. Probably didn't love the going, but still.
Sadly, I had a very strong bet on Unusual Legacy, but I think if you asked Mr Waller, he'd suggest the right horse won.
It's a lot of fun working out which of his horses have their feet tied together each week.
Time for the Form King 👑 Worm of the Week 🪱
Week 1: +0.375u
Week 2 : -1.3u
Week 3 spend: 1.6u
As heard on @RSN927 this morning* with @m_felgate, the WOTW is Flemington R7 #10 Running By (bold white, top pic).
Running By had done "just enough work to win if good enough" (according to @AaronGooden99's Mounting Yard Mail) leading into her 1st up run. She lands here with John Allen's only ride of the day, in a competitive mares race. Shown here filtered to the 1400m distance, she has the tactical speed to go forward from the tricky gate and only needs to have held form to be right in the finish. Staking 0.6u @ $6.5 (rated $5).
The back up worm is Rosehill R5 #3 Cadetship. Shown filtered between 1400m and 1600m distance range (bold cyan worm). I think the lead up race will emerge as good form with horses like Unusual Legacy (drawn a sticky gate today in R3). All the speed here is out wider and the promising apprentice can get swept along early into a nice spot 1 off the fence, midfield or slightly better. Staking is 0.5u each way $8/2.8 (rated $5).
Confidence levels on these 2 are moderate and staking reflects that.
*A slight correction from the RSN segment around the Run to the Rose. I wasn't advocating Storm Boy as Lay of the Day today. I do think he's a little short at $2.1, but not against him in principle. I was trying to convey that I made him lay of the day in Week 1, and got it wrong.
Fortunately, I found the mute button before my 3yo came into the room screaming (unrelated matter). Live radio, hey!

Webster clearly gets sent to tribunal. But if I see a biomechanist, I'll spew up!
For this issue to progress and behaviours to change, St Kilda should walk in, plead guilty, apologise and say we accept the penalty being sought by the AFL.
Anything else would contemptible.
