Her superb policies have given the #Italian political economy a new fervor and she has emerged as a leader to reckon with. A self-made person in the tough battlefield that is Italian politics, #Meloni is now more of a centrist. The #European leadership is largely without focus and spine. She is one politician to watch. She came to the recent #G7 summit in #Evian with her little daughter holding her mother’s hand. The international media loved the ‘Mamma’ A disrespectful #Trump won her public ire and the #Italian coalition government rallied behind her. She is a global leader to watch. In a democracy, it is is critical for the media to move out of echo chambers and engage with difference and diversity. 🎩 tip to you #PrimeMinister as you cut new ground. @samirsaran

This is so depressing ... there is a whole army of people deployed to abuse and discredit him and the students who are fighting -- but if anyone thinks independently, will we be able to live it down if we watch silently?
