I built an operating system just for reverse engineering CPUs. We used it to poke around the branch predictors on Apple Silicon and found some cool stuff (including Phantom fetches!). See what we found here: csail.mit.edu/news/study-how…

Now that I've joined the Codex team, it's so freakin' cool being able to fix paper cut bugs that I was running into before the switch. What paper cuts are you running into? I'll see what I can do.

Together with SpaceXAI, we’re training a significantly larger model from scratch, using 10x more total compute. With Colossus 2’s million H100-equivalents and our combined data and training techniques, we expect this to be a major leap in model capability.

Introducing Composer 2.5, our most powerful model yet. It's more intelligent, better at sustained work on long-running tasks, and more reliable at following complex instructions. For the next week, we’re doubling the included usage of the model.

@spendergrsec how the hell is there no tooling to detect an #ifdef <SOMETHING> where that exact line is the only reference to <SOMETHING> in the entire tree i mean i guess it could be passed by CCFLAGS=-Dsomething but still

@snwy_me A buddy and I curated a beautiful collection of 3500 artworks inspired by the Renaissance and its focus on the intersection of science & art using DALLE-2 back in 2023 called the 0xAI Genesis collection If you want to finetune further, we can send you some pieces!

before DALLE-2 was shut down this month, i generated around ~50,000 images from a diverse prompt corpus and did a full fine-tune of SD1.5 on it. the result feels nearly identical to DALLE-2 (left: base SD1.5, right: fine-tuned)

@spikira25 id bet most ut players havent even played an rpg and watering it down and adding bhell makes it palatable but they long for the bits that ut chopped off but dont want to give up the bhell thats why i like your games so much (2/2)

@spikira25 Fair i think undertale not being a real jrpg works in its favor theres a lot of people who would play an rpg-lite like undertale even without the metacommentary esp with the bhell parts (1/2)

@spikira25 idk i just assumed it was a "we didnt really make it, its just a bit" thing if this was something like adding 100 floors to new home thing then sure but in the stream its pretty clearly postgame (waterfall door) and evidently from demand if the dungeon WAS there ppl would play it

@chlclient plus i dont see it as necesarily a "wow that sucked" sort of commentary. i see it more as a "wow its funny that games used to do this kind of thing, isnt it? the joke here is that im doing it but not actually forcing you to play through it"

@spikira25 idk i dont think most people saw it as a negative reference to jrpgs padding for time, i think most people saw it as a positive reference to postgame content like the super paper mario pit of 100 trials / pokemon battle frontier esp since its literally true pacifist only

@chlclient be getting across. and again, i don't necessarily agree that something like a doghole dungeon would be unfun and unneeded for a UTDR game (not that i think that's what the original text is saying), but there IS a level of irony there
