Let me give you a glimpse of how accountable & elected govts work vs Form 47 ones. During one summer of PTI’s govt, an LNG terminal ship was up for replacement for routine contracted maintenance. It was July with peak summer load. The down time in LNG supply was expected to be 5 days. Load-shedding projection was for 2-4 hours a day. Media ran whole segments on it. A one hour cabinet discussion was held on how to avoid even that. In the end, the energy division improvised & reduced the down time to 2 days only with minimal load shedding. Compared this to the current unelected lot sitting in ministries now. Rejected by their constituents, they relax in their air conditioned offices hoping that they will be ushered into office again on the basis of Form 47 type electoral rigging again. They also know that media has been silenced & they are answerable to no one.
