Only within maybe the last 2 or so gens have the majority of idols come from well-to-do families. Many 1st gen and 2nd gen idols grew up poor. TVXQ Yunho's family had a period where they were homeless. Junsu's family couldn't afford to raise he and his older twin, so toddler
