In March '24, Game of Silks offered its Season 2 NFTs for $1000 per horse. In July '24 (only 4 months later), Game of Silks temporarily suspended its platform, announcing "...our current approach, heavily reliant on NFTs and blockchain technology, has not resonated as we hoped."

@SSerioPhoto @raypaulick See, love when people think they can say things about a project, but when you say it, people who understand it, know, you really didn't understand it. Everything you just said was very wrong. And not true at all.

@chopperreed12 @raypaulick Land wasn't free. You had to buy a virtual farm. You still had to pay gas to get your ETH out. You had to pay fees to but ETH and to make it cash again. Why should I have to buy a virtual farm? And the inflated same day auctions to get an unminted horse that was running. Joke.

@SSerioPhoto @raypaulick I'm not sure how you find the math wrong, it was the exorbitant spending on developing stuff they scrapped and not listening to what the community want , and pulling out money to founders before they were profitable, the maths work very well. If not wasted away

@SSerioPhoto @raypaulick And there was no fees for land, sorry I think you might not be completely across how it all worked, conceptually it was sound, ran poorly and funds mismanagement. This is the real issue at hand, not the concept or game theory

@chopperreed12 @raypaulick If Silks was supposed to mimic the real world, how much purse money was left on the table by non-minted horses? The fact these things were allegedly random, but Silks never had to pay out huge rewards for a bunch of horses was always shady. The fees for virtual land was shady.

Well it's based on averages, they also weren't paid for the losing horses that weren't minted either. So yes un minted horses didn't get paid rewards, and that was just random luck , but all the unminted was missed revenue, so averages balance that out. Nothing Natharius about that

@SSerioPhoto @raypaulick We are as a community working on getting these answers and we will come back even stronger as a community run with secure contracts with untouchable reward wallet purely for only rewards, the way it should have been from day one

@chopperreed12 @raypaulick The real question is, after generating all that money. Where is it? Heck, crypto is up over the last 12-18 months. Where is the money. Shady is is shady does. How hard it was to get and how much money did go back to the customers was always the biggest red flag. Felt very Ponzi.

@DerekDeCicco @SwiftHitter We've had lots of fun. It's just sad that they are acting broke, there's plenty of money there, it's well thought out and the finances add up, if not stolen from company to directors etc

@SwiftHitter Eth is far more traceable than any other payments. Every dollar paid is traceable, outside of when the team pulls money back to fiat. That's were it all goes missing
