@Shabnamagram I use a Kobo and it’s excellent - all the books under the sun and great deals on their store too. You can also sync up and read ebooks from your local library… all that AND not giving money to Amazon - that’s the true moral win 🥹✨

Book readers - I need some advice. I love the feel (and smell) of a physical book. I like turning pages. But I am spending an incredible amount of money on buying books. Do you have a kindle and has it ruined your reading experience? What else can I do to not spend so much?

@FayeGriffiths8 @ian_cushing The overwhelming thing they wanted was collaboration - on a family, friends and community level. They wanted to bridge the classroom with their lives and they felt English allowed them to do so ✨

@FayeGriffiths8 @ian_cushing A lot of them wanted to be able to reflect or document on an online notebook - when I asked about it, a group said, “we would like to get your opinion on our readings and see how you respond” 🥹

Colonial powers have always portrayed anti-colonial resistance as savagery, barbarism, and terrorism.

Teach Like a Champion…. but for prison officers. it was always logical that a pedagogical industry built on compliance, control and surveillance has been exported from schools into prisons 🤷‍♀️
