Forcing trans people to revert gender markers means they will immediately be outed in any interaction that requires an ID- renting an apt, starting a job, applying for a bank account, every interaction w police. This enables discrimination+can put trans people in physical danger

Trans people deserve IDs that reflect who they are. Bills like this undermine the basic rights of trans people and put them at risk of serious harm. No one can erase trans peoples' existence.

my opinion on asoiaf spoilers as someone who never got into GoT or HotD, only akotsk bc of the working class knight: you're diving into a world that's been around since the 90s, has a show that's more than a decade old, and a huge fandom. you WILL get spoiled. make peace with it.

UPDATE: After seeing this video, I informed ICE of my intent to visit the Baltimore facility today. I was told I would be denied entry.
It’s clear Trump's ICE would rather engage in a cover up. I will not stop pressing until we get answers. We need transparency & accountability.

Like many of you, I have seen this video, and I'm demanding answers. My team has reached out to ICE repeatedly and have yet to get clear answers. Such mistreatment would be further evidence of the inhumane conditions at the Baltimore Holding Facility — something I have repeatedly called them out on. We will continue investigating & update when we know more.
