@choydev @izutsulyn The fgc doesnt ruin in it for casual players because FGs are inherently anti casual even when they are created to be as casual as possible.
English

@legend_zenooo @YahyaStillGamin @izutsulyn Tekken 8 is only the most hated online. FighterZ is definitely casual friendly, but is not ignorant to traditional fighting game mechanics
English

@YahyaStillGamin @izutsulyn Smash isn't popular amongst the FGC, it has its own separate community that was always casual friendly.
DoA went to shit when they started to appeal to casuals.
Tekken 8 is the most hated game in the series.
FighterZ is NOT casual friendly lmao
English

@VolSkimmer This is not a pro/community first game. That’s a good thing.

@KaiKai2492 In both of those scenarios, you’d have bigger things to worry about

People really saying “just connect to the internet not a big deal” my brother in Christ that’s not the point. God forbid a natural disaster happens or you can’t pay your WiFi bill one month and just can’t play games you PAID for until you reconnect.
It doesn’t matter if you have internet, it’s a matter of principle. You shouldn’t be okay with PS arbitrarily taking away access to games you spent your hard earned money on. The more comfortable you get with this the worse it will get.
We’re frogs in the pot and they’re slowly raising the heat and some of yall aren’t noticing.

Un usuario contactó con el soporte de PlayStation y le confirmaron que el tema del DRM es intencional, no un error. En resumen: los juegos digitales comprados recientemente requieren que la consola se conecte a Internet al menos una vez al mes.

Budokai 4 would probably match the hype of Sparking Zero but it will be a bigger disaster than Sparking Zero for one key reason: The Budokai Games were designed to be very hard games to play. This generation would force them to nerf the game massively and ruin it by complaining.

le seul jeu DB qui serait capable d'égaler cette hype ? bien que je vois pas dans quel contexte tu peux faire revenir Budokai

@yuronkdev This tweet and the replies feel like an advertisement, but it is welcome. That website is great

@Fredinator85 @GT500org @Pirat_Nation Devs shouldn’t have to do that for their own games if they don’t want to. Were the ones caught in the middle of consumers and corps, both of which can be greedy assholes
English

@GT500org @Pirat_Nation This has been debunked several times: if they include an end of live plan from the early stages the development costs are minuscule. An EoL plan can literally be an instruction manual on how to create a server emulator like Tera has
English

@ItsPingu3D @GT500org @Pirat_Nation You just made up a scenario to further your argument. Most scenarios wouldn’t play out like that.
English

@GT500org @Pirat_Nation "i cna play ters whenever i want because private servers keep it alive" and if those servers get a cease and desist what. Where you play tera then. Blue checkmark? Checks out

@ohara_tk Azucena definitely up there boring ass combos

The de-casualization of fighting games is a consequence of the change of culture + online gaming. Fighting games at home used to have single player components ie unlockables, story modes etc.
In the age of season passes and live services, this is rare now

Another reminder that fighting games will NEVER be casual friendly. Change a million things about the genre, some for the better, but humans HATE losing. The only sure way to make a fighting game grow with casuals is to make it so cool that they want to push through the pain.
English

@PezzimanFGC Ranked definitely isn’t for practice. That’s quick match… or practice.
English

@WukongMods @VolSkimmer I guess. Though I’d say if you’re pro, you should have that kind of knowledge down already. Having all of that while an online/pvp match is already underway just doesn’t seem right… like it takes away from the moment and the fun of figuring things out during gameplay
English

@choydev @VolSkimmer well let me put it this way for you,
its no different from googling it before the match starts
or having a friend tell you
or having a spreadsheet open on another monitor
or when pros do it in tournaments when they check their phone or get coaching
