Deep down, many Nigerians are happy that Tinubu's govt failed because this justifies their internal unwarranted bigotry towards the Yorubas. And a lot of politicians never wanted Tinubu's administration to succeed in any way, so they can up their chances to recontest come 2027.
Is Tinubu's govt a disappointment, yes; But was this what many hoped for, also yes.
The one fundermantal truth many Nigerians don't realize is that a good or bad govt affects us all, regardless who your prefered choice was.

Let's discuss.
What if the state government decides to ask every landlord to value their properties, which would be certified by selected valuers, and peg the total annual rent to be received from each property at no more than 5% of the property value, subject to review every three years?
Thoughts on this?

@itohan_olat As long as he cooks and cleans the house then obeys instructions from his husband, everything will be fine.

At church today, a couple came out for their wedding dedication and shared a testimony afterward.
The wife is 49, the husband is 35.
Apparently, the lady has never been married before, but she’s very wealthy.
She funded the entire wedding and even bought the husband a Range Rover as a wedding gift 🎁
They live in Guzape in a mini-mansion that belongs to her.
They looked genuinely happy today.
So be honest - is this cringe to you as a man or could you see yourself doing the same?

A man is expected to lead, provide, protect, stay loyal, communicate calmly, regulate his emotions, absorb pressure silently, and still make a woman feel emotionally safe at all times.
But the moment he asks for respect, cooperation, accountability, or peace in return, he risks being called controlling.
That imbalance is exhausting more men than people admit.
