@ButchBaseball29 Well said! Baseball is beautiful that there are many philosophies that work. 💯

I love Waffle House bc they are incredible at staying in their lane. They are perfect at what they do. They do not try to be something they are not.
Went last night solo at 2am bc nothing else was open.
Walk in. Nobody else in there. Waitress takes drink order. Brings it back 30 seconds later and takes meal order. Yells it to the cook immediately. Food out within 4 minutes. $12 for a chocolate chip waffle, 2 eggs, hashbrows, 3 pieces of bacon and 2 pieces of toast.
In and out within 25-30 minutes. All day breakfast. Left satiated. Pleasant staff. Cheap. Open 24/7 including through most severe storms.
Hard to compete.

A coach posting their lineup in the dugout is a very valid form of communication
If you’re not in it consistently, the message is you’re not good enough or he doesn’t like you
Players and parents so often miss this, I’m telling you not to!
Personally, I played everyone and communicated when and why… but that was my method. Not all leaders like that avenue
Don’t accuse coaches of lack of communication on playing time if they’re posting a lineup… that’s their way and it’s a players responsibility to change the coaches view or change their own!

@coachzblair10 So many robbing parents without growth plans for the player. I see players spend more time shagging the 12 baseballs the facility has than working on swing adjustments. 😂

It blows my mind what all these unqualified coaches charge for lessons.
Does resume not matter anymore?
We've got people out here that played in HS, kept stats on their college team, & never even sniffed pro ball, charging $60+ per hour.
They haven't played or coached at a high level & they're out here robbing people. Make it make sense! 🤪

A note from a God fearing man and a tremendous leader.....
Today I turn 85 years old… and here are a few lessons I’ve learned along the way.
1. Put God First
After 85 years, I can tell you this: life only makes sense when the Lord is at the center. Every major decision, every victory, every setback — God has guided me through all of it.
2. People Matter More Than Anything
Championships are great, but it’s the people you walk through life with who make it meaningful. You win with people, and I’ve been blessed with some of the best.
3. Hard Work Wins When Talent Doesn’t
Across football, racing, and ministry, one truth has held steady: outwork the competition. Discipline, preparation, and commitment will take you farther than talent alone.
4. Success Without Character Isn’t Success
I’ve seen people reach the top and lose themselves. Your values, integrity, and faith must stand firm no matter how high you climb.
5. God Uses Setbacks to Shape Us
Some of the hardest moments of my life ended up being the ones God used to teach me the most. When you trust Him, even disappointment becomes direction.
6. You Can’t Lead Well Until You Serve Well
Great leadership starts with humility. Before you coach, direct, or guide anyone, you must be willing to serve them first.
7. Prayer Is Your Lifeline
I’ve never faced a moment — in coaching, racing, or life — where prayer didn’t sustain me. Seek God daily. Depend on Him deeply.
8. “The most important thing we’ll leave on earth is the influence we have on others.”
At 85, this truth sits closest to my heart. The way we love, encourage, and point others toward Jesus — that’s the legacy that lasts longer than any trophy. #wisdom #jesus

Bill Parcells said, "Losers assemble in little groups and complain about the coaches and the players in other little groups."
Complaining is not a solution, IT'S A DISTRACTION!
It distracts you from action, gratitude, and positivity.
