I’d like to argue that the defining sound of the 2010s is trap. It started bubbling under early in the decade with Gucci Mane, Chief Keef, and Waka Flocka Flame. Started to creep into the mainstream around 2014 with Migos and Thugger. Exploded around 2016 once streaming took off.

It is true humans ar hard to replace. But humans are expensive. Robots are slowly getting cheaper and and do tricky work.
