After falling off the platform I was using on Friday, landing on a steel wire that caused a nasty gash on my elbow that needed to be glued, and one tetanus booster later, I spent most of Saturday working in the garden, very sore and bruised. Hoping to get this finished tomorrow

Sucks for an AI agent to delete the prod DB - with no way to back it up - and risk the complete rental business.
But the blame sits with the dev who decided to delegate decision making to the AI agent, and then not review actions, just YOLO it.
Time for a blameful postmortem...

@prwright55 @but_cyclists The law is clear, and it has no fine dividing line. Any vehicle propelled without manual power (whether that's from an electric motor or an engine) is a motor vehicle. The bike in the video has a throttle control on the handlebar and is propelled without manual power.

@chrisccoulson @but_cyclists That's not what I would call it, for me its a pushbike with an electric motor but if you call it a motorbike fair enough. I suppose it's a fine dividing line and not clear these days

@prwright55 @but_cyclists It's a mechanically propelled vehicle, ie, a motorbike (an electric one). Some of the things you've identified are what make it illegal, and the fact that it's impossible to obtain insurance for them. It's not an electrically assisted pedal bike, which would be legal

@chrisccoulson @but_cyclists As a motorbike rider of many years I consider that an electric bike ... if nothing else the view of the handlebars give it away, as does the thin front tyre. No motorbike has a tyre that size
