My mother would say that 🇨🇦 gave her peace & that she owed it peace back.
She was a lot of firsts but she always put us first & led by example.
When we went visit to her hometown, she wasn’t wistful. She bragged about 🇨🇦 to them all.
I never forgot that.

Wishing upon a... moon?
That bright "star" is actually Mars' moon Deimos. In the hours before dawn, I snapped this long-exposure image with my left Navcam and caught Deimos as well as two stars from the constellation Leo in the sky.
It's definitely a mood, as they say.

Ah, yes...it's just the natural evolution of democracy in 2025 to shut down more access for journalists to hold politicians accountable during a historic federal election.
If your party is trying to distance itself from the politics of Trump, it is failing miserably.

Respectfully, this isn't spin. People don’t realize how empty campaign planes have been—media and parties paying for empty seats. This shift just makes sense. As a veteran of four national campaigns and many provincial ones, I predict we’ll see more of this.
