I'm almost 30 years late, but I'm finally getting around to watching From the Earth to the Moon. Two episodes in, it's really good, but I'm specifically reminded that @kevinpollak is a goddamn national treasure.

@EddieTrunk I’ll agree with some other replies. My daughter’s a big fan, so I end up listening to songs from Guts pretty regularly in the car with her. It’s far more rock and roll than most of her pop contemporaries’ work. Not Metallica or anything, but real instruments and distortion!

@_lucyjbrown @BloomsburyLit As someone involved in CW Studies, I’m so appreciative of the work you and Bloomsbury have done assembling such a collection of books. When I started in the field 15 years ago, the stack of truly useful books wasn’t all that tall. :) It’s been discipline-changing!

The Creative Writing section of the Bloomsbury website is now live! It's been a pleasure to curate this list and watch it grow and I can't wait to see where we go next. Check out all our new books as well as our stellar backlist here: bloomsbury.com/uk/academic/cr…

@sepinwall Fwiw, I’m a big Tolkien nerd who didn’t love Season One, but I enjoyed the first three episodes of Season Two because (so far, at least) they’ve ditched the Halbrand mystery box in favor of hewing more closely to Tolkien’s actual legendarium. Not perfect, but much better so far.

@CzaiaZach Thanks, Zach! @amykierzekash , @MDeanClark , and I are super proud of the book, but it's hard to know sometimes how it's been received at the classroom level, so I'm thrilled to see it in the hands of someone else pushing to bounds of secondary creative writing pedagogy! Kudos!

Incorporating/integrating creative writing pedagogy into high school English classroom. Shout out @chrisdrew76 for inspiration!

My essay, "Elegy for a Gargoyle," is live in the current issue of @TwistedVineLit! (It's on page 44, if you want to have a look.) Excited that this piece has found a good home! twistedvine.wnmu.edu

Yet another order shipped and sold by @amazon that promised 1 day shipping but is now delayed an additional 5 days. Maybe. Who knows? The Prime subscription seems less and less worth it every day.
