@Sportsnet @NYIslanders I’d love to find out the answer, but your app is down (again!). Way to kill the mood, can’t wait for this incredible service to spread to Shaw as well

One point and they're in. 👀 Will the @NYIslanders clinch the final Wild Card spot in the East tonight? Catch all the action as the Islanders take on the Canadiens on SN1.

This is record breaking taxpayer-supported capital investment. The spending goes from $12.17 billion in 2022/23 to $15.8 billion in 23/24. For example, transportation investments go from $2.3 billion in 22/23 to $4.2 billion in 23/24. #bcpoli

NEW - The BC Government has rolled out a budget $4.2 billion deficit. On April 1, BC will become first province to provide free prescription contraceptives. The Renters Rebate has been introduced as a $400 credit for those who make less than $60k a year. #bcpoli

@scottmatla also don’t forget that the refs probably feel bad about the ‘missed call’ so the wheel of justice is already loaded against the Habs

@IneffectiveMath apologies if I’m missing something obvious, but is this chart available on your site?

Starting to see the "starters" pull away from the pack in terms of workload.

If there are any tech editors out there who actually want to test the Apple Watch Ultra's scuba-diving capabilities ...my niche skill overlap of tech blogging and 3x-per-week diving have just become useful

@nycsouthpaw If gunman C was dining at a nearby establishment, would that mean that he Eats, Shoots, and Leaves?

In Missouri: 1. Gunman A is open carrying his rifle at the store 2. He is accosted outside by gunman B who robs A of the rifle 3. A retrieves another gun from his car and fires at B, who is struck. A flees. 5. Unknown gunman C arrives, shoots B, flees. ksdk.com/article/news/c…

It feels to me recently that the NHL is coming to a standard on this..... Again, recently. And I don't have a lot of examples. However, I am noticing... who causes the contact is the standard. Dauphin pushes Wild D. Wild D hits goalie. Therefore, no goal on who caused contact.

Dauphin does the shoving. I say no goal. Because I think the standard they are trying to set is who causes the collision. Answer Dauphin.

This is an awful position for G/O to put their regional affiliates in. Pulls work made by writers independent of G/O across the picket line (The regional sites like Kotaku Australia are license deals. Third party publishers pay for the brand, mix original work with syndication)
scary ruby innes@rubyinnes

pretty gross that @RhunWords and i's work is really only being showcased on kotaku US for the purpose of crossing a picket line. we both were strongly against having our articles posted during the strike, but it was never our choice in the end. we're with you @gmgunion

Excluding Maple Ridge, there are 20 detached homes (dry land, non leasehold) available for under a million dollars IN ALL OF METRO VANCOUVER. The old "just buy your first starter home in the suburbs" rejoinder by people denying the housing crisis doesn't even hold true anymore.

A decade ago, a truism in Vancouver real estate was Main Street was the dividing line for million dollar homes. Right now, there isn't a detached home on dry land selling for under a million in all of Vancouver. Or Burnaby. Or Richmond. Or Port Moody. Or the entire North Shore.

The B.C. government, in defending the proposed $25 fee for every FOI request, has repeatedly said that “other jurisdictions’ fees range from $5 to $50." I asked the government what "other jurisdictions" they were using for their comparison. Here is their reply.

If you had to place a bet on a piece of developed real estate that would remain relatively unchanged for a very long time, what kind of real estate would it be? (Thinking 150+ years).

@StarFire2258 I definitely thought it was just me with the first-world problem though. I don't get why there are dual batteries but no tiny internal cell to keep it running during a swap
