The Son of God, through whom all things were created, was not welcomed, and a poor manger for animals was his crib. The eternal Word of the Father whom the heavens cannot contain chose to come into the world in this way. Out of love, he accepted poverty and rejection, identifying himself with those who are discarded and excluded. #Christmas

Oh how beautiful our universal Church is 🥹 To think that 2,000 years ago in this very spot, our first Pope Peter was brutally crucified & martyred for his faith, & now over 1.4 billion people rejoice at our 267th Pope is so humbling 🇻🇦🕊️

Strength is built through intensity, effort, and consistent progression. You can’t train soft and expect to play hard.

Lord make me humble. Lord make me useful.
