This is pretty cool!
Standard: Measuring the health of your software.
Standout: Measuring the health of your humans.

We are launching the largest open-source initiative in @rootlyhq's history: On-Call Health It helps engineering teams ensure their on-call responders aren't overworked or at risk of burnout. Try it right now at oncallhealth.ai. We provide mock data, no setup required.

We’ve spent years improving incident management with better tooling, automation, and now AI.
All of that matters.
But it’s not the thing that determines maturity.
As @chrisinchcom explains in his latest blog post: at the end of every alert is a human making decisions under pressure.
If your process burns them out, concentrates knowledge in a few heroes, or skips learning once the fire is out, the system isn’t resilient… it’s fragile.
Sustainable ops cultures are built by investing in people as deliberately as we invest in technology.
Tools scale response.
Humans determine resilience.

You can start making improvements to your incident management process today. I share a few tips with @rootlyhq .

Automation (and AI) doesn’t replace responders. It removes the work that shouldn’t require a human at 3 AM. Part 2 of @chrisinchcom incident response maturity series looks at how tooling, automation, and AI reduce toil and make reliability sustainable.

You can now connect Rootly to any MCP-compatible AI tool, such as Cursor, Claude, and Copilot. This allows responders to resolve incidents with Rootly’s additional context without leaving their IDE.
And that’s not all—the Rootly MCP Server is open source. That’s right, it’s licensed under Apache 2.0 and available on GitHub.
Read more about our MCP Server and watch a demo in our blog post.

Hey @citywaterloo and @DorothyMcCabe
Isn't the 21 century time we drop silly rules about grass length and not let it be someone's job to go around the city and use the measuring tape on it? Don't we want bio-diversity and fight for the climate?

I use @SlackHQ Huddles for daily standups. Every day:
- Launch the Huddle from our team channel
- Pop out the Huddle window from Slack
- Move the window to my other display
- Maximize the window
- Enable my camera
A mere 6 clicks later, and I'm ready. Please make this easier.

@dave__whiteside Building a great, high trust relationship up front is also key. It's the responsibility of a leader to ensure this trust exists before being able to deliver meaningful feedback.

@JLLundrigan I've been saving mine in a jar, and one day, I'm gonna cash them all in.
