Hahah niiiiice! I reached out to Andrew also on LinkedIn offering my expertise - I’m an ex agency owner / SEO/SEM expert - never heard back (and I was offering it for free!) But I bet this daily cadence will get his attention (probably already has!) - now you just gotta put out fire ads! Which btw - this ad is definitely fire. It does a great job following their brand guidelines too. I personally would like to see more lo-fi / UGC-style shit… Like how bout an unboxing ad. Or a UGC testimonial mashup? Look at Vshred for inspo. Those guys are animals. My philosophy has always been: ads that don’t look like ads. And it still works!

I learned this the hard way. You don’t have to. If you’re a builder and want fewer blind spots on the way to the big exit & life after... Follow along. I share what I wish someone told me.

5/ It’s never too early to start tax planning Most founders treat taxes as an afterthought. But the truth is: - Tax planning isn’t for when you’re selling. - It’s for when you’re scaling. Every dollar you save legally is a dollar you keep. So be smarter than me. Start now. Your future self will thank you.

4/ Cayman Islands LLC Housing your IP in a Cayman LLC is 100% legal & massively tax-efficient. The structure can: - Shift profits to lower-tax jurisdictions - Reduce your exposure when you sell We only learned about it after the check cleared. Way too late.

3/ QSBS (Qualified Small Business Stock) QSBS shelters up to $10M in capital gains from taxes (yes you read that right) It's a real fu*kin thing, not even kidding: sba.gov/blog/qualified… But here’s the catch: - You need to hold the stock for 5 years. - i.e. You need to qualify long before a sale is even on the radar. We didn’t. And it cost us millions.

2/ The tax bill hits as hard as the exit high. Millions. Gone in an instant. Much more than I'd expected. Calibrate your expectations,

1/ Exit happens fast. We weren't even trying to sell. Then one day an interesting buyer showed up. And everything moved at lightspeed.

Writing a multi-million dollar check to the IRS was not the flex I imagined. We sold our company. The deal closed. The wire hit. And then the IRS came knocking. Here’s what I wish I knew earlier: 🧵

Yea, there's SEO opportunity, for sure. Do you know what pages/sections of the site were hit hardest? I'd say 50-60% of the time, these things resolve themselves naturally within a month or so. There's simple stuff that could help (like using keywords in page titles, that's 101). Also I think "Reviewed by" badges where you show that medical content was reviewed by a PHD would go a long way (you'll want to include this via schema markup at the code-level too -- schema.org/reviewedBy ) I can take a deeper look & put some reccos together if you want another set of eyes (no offense, but the advice from your SEO expert was .... a little underwhelming) ... I've been an SEO / agency owner for almost 20 years.

@ShaanVP Damn sorry to hear that man. I’d try diet. My wife is gluten free, dairy free, organic, grass-fed, etc! So me & the kids are too mostly. But we cheat sometimes & my son gets excema flare ups, dairy especially seems to trigger him.

I'm on a mission to help fix my son's allergies and asthma. He's 3 yrs old 1) what should I try? 2) who should I talk to? he has the 'triad' (allergies, asthma, exzema) - we don't know what he's allergic to - he's in a semi-permanent state of flare up (redness, wheezy, runny nose type stuff) - if he catches any kind of cold, we end up in the ER because his breathing gets too labored (needs nebulizer for hours)
