@chrisnickel970 I was gonna post that earlier! Left two on carts over the past two years until I started the key thing.

I love opposite field events. Give me Aaron Wise, Steven Fisk, Taylor Pendrith and sudden death playoffs every week.

@bubbascaddie Man - at that age - just make sure you keep it fun! There’s plenty of time for all that other stuff.

Bubbas (8 yrs old) weakness are pretty glaring but he’s so close. Short game - gets it inside 10-15 feet almost every time. Just not enough close to get up and down. Putting - below average speed control leading to too many 3 putts. Here’s a pretty normal round. 35 (-1) with 20 putts from age appropriate world championship yardages. I’m not worried about it. I’m sure it’ll come with time. Just trying to enjoy the journey!

If any aspiring golfer is considering turning professional....please, please do yourself a favor and find a way to get inside the ropes at a mini-tour or Korn Ferry tour event.

@bubbascaddie I work with plenty of D1 and elite junior players - most often they have more than the required skill to score well, but they don’t know how to create that score - if that makes sense.

@chrisnickel970 Any advice for development of young juniors? Tomorrow Bubba is playing with a D1 player for the first time. Excited for him to see how to go low

@Andyjhindmarsh That's what I did this week for the Korn Ferry event. Best way to watch professional golf.

@Andyjhindmarsh Not suggesting players don’t give it a run - but spending a little time watching how elite players perform during tournament rounds can help “would be” pros understand the level of play required.

@oilhead_cj Yeah, it's a great place to start. When you think you're pretty good, see if you can play a qualifying round with an average DI team.

@GolfSpyT Who wins today? England is *probably the better side - and I can't see FIFA allowing Argentina to bow out now.

@AlanShipnuck Feels like two ugly bogies on easy par 5s and a nice birdie on a challenging, but getable par 4.

I once paid/tipped ~$400. I almost always go over the recommended range, but if the caddy is exceptional - truly works with me like a team I am willing to tip quite a bit. I would say most of my caddying experiences are as such: 5% are an elite partner on the course 5% are maybe a level below that 15% are very very good 15% are helping a little 30% are carrying the bag and doing the bare minimum 15% are not good at what they are doing 15% make the round worse than being alone I think this is a close breakdown. I had a caddy last year that missed my yardage on every hole on the back nine (I was even par on the front). He was using a GPS watch and it was off by 20-30 yards and it was kind of obvious. Great caddies are like great friends… they are priceless.

How much are you willing to pay to play a top-100 destination/resort course (including caddie/tip)?

@huskertd309 I'd have to check, but I would be shocked if they don't sell out for 2027. And when you include a basic caddie fee (which is $150 for guys that are double-bagging), you're at $500, which is pretty steep.
