@newscomauHQ If he can fend off a defamation suit for calling Clive Palmer a "Fatty McFuckHead" I think he can handle a little bad press from the Murdoch Media

A popular YouTuber has been branded “very offensive” and “racist” for appearing to mock NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian in a video.

@brad_polumbo In my country, politicians say things, people believe them, they get elected, then they don't do the things. Does it work differently in America?

@clairlemon Increased supply does not equal increased demand. This will increase student turnover, dilute the workforce & lower salaries. Those HELP loans will never be paid back if students dont pursue their passion. How about investing in creating jobs instead of pandering to conservatives

@ConceptualJames The worst part is she votes to drive down the wedge of inequality and now shes revelling in the unrest its caused

The worst part here is the almost manic glee in her eyes at setting up a racism witchhunt.

Rep. @AOC: "The term 'white fragility' can really set a lot of people off... It's almost ironic."

@Dachshunds4eva @JohnCleese I'm confused, you claim that most non-voters were moderates and then provide an article that suggests most moderates did actually vote, and thus swung the election. Shouldn't you be discouraging them from voting in future as it may have an unpredictable outcome on elections.
English

@chrisofaus @JohnCleese It was pretty well established at the time (even before the election), with "moderate" specifically referring to the fact they did not feel the far/mid left or right aligned with their beliefs.
One article; others easily found if you would like to look: nytimes.com/2016/11/16/opi…
English

@Dachshunds4eva @JohnCleese how could you know most non-voters were moderates? perhaps they were the large percentage of Americans who did not feel represented by either party.
English

@JohnCleese 100 million people in the U.S.A. did not vote in 2016.
Many have expressed outraged that people did not vote and blame them for all the ills of the past 3 1/2 years.
Most non-voters were moderates and, as @JohnCleese so brilliantly and clearly points out, stuck in the middle.

@SeattleIndpdnt @clairlemon The aim of globalization is a global free market not a one world government. The export of national values is interventionism and is hardly conducive to international relations and trade.
English

@clairlemon The point of globalisation is efficient comparative advantage trading which allows nations to thrive off the back of specialising their exports. We'l see how patriotic you are when your paying more for everything while wages stagnate.

@thompn4 @_jack_fox_ How are green voters responsible for electing the GOP? Because they didnt vote democrat? You should thank them for voting at all and provide an argument for why they should vote democrat next time if they care about the environment, what do the dems do for the environment?
English

@chrisofaus @_jack_fox_ When did I say that you "can't" vote for any party?
If you were concerned about the environment and voted for the Green party over Dems in 2000 or 2016, then congrats on your protest ballot, but just know you helped do an immense amount of environmental damage.
