The Oregon Republican Party needs to grow some balls!!! We need to collectively rebuild the party with new courageous legislators that will submit to the will of the people, not their self interests with lobbiest and PAC's. When a party refuses to support a recall against a governor they know is corrupt, immoral, and dragging the state into the ground—simply because they’re terrified the next opponent might be “too hard to beat”—that is not just cowardice. It is a complete collapse of integrity. It shows a party so addicted to comfort, control, and political calculation that it will tolerate corruption rather than risk a challenging fight. This isn’t strategy. This is a party hiding under the table while the state burns. These same leaders have kept this party in the minority for over 40 years!!! Same people...same crap... And the so-called leaders who made this decision not to support the recall? Let’s call it what it is: they chose their careers over their constituents. They chose safety over courage. They chose silence over action. That makes them part of the very decay they pretend to oppose. A party that refuses to confront a corrupt governor because it might make the next election “inconvenient” has lost its moral credibility. Period. If they lack the spine to stand up when it matters, they have no business asking anyone for trust, votes, donations, or respect. If they couldn’t muster the courage to support a recall that Oregonians deserved, then they have already exposed themselves as weak, self-protecting insiders who are unfit to represent anyone. They’re political placeholders—seat-fillers—who crumble at the first sign of difficulty. Our party should be led by people willing to fight for principle, not those who fold the moment the path isn’t paved for them. If they can’t face down corruption, they shouldn’t be anywhere near leadership.
