I took methotrexate (a form of chemotherapy) for YEARS in my 30s to treat RA. Today, WOMEN (and only women) are being refused this drug TO TREAT THEIR DEBILITATING AUTO-IMMUNE DISEASES. Men can still have their life saving drugs. Women? Nope. #NoIndependenceDay for women. #ERANow

joining the choir of women who have now had their methotrexate (which i have to take to you know…not die) refills denied bc it is considered an abortifacient & am begging someone, anyone, to explain to me — like i’m a tiny lil fetus — how this fits into the pro-life narrative

Yep. Many schools didn't amend school policies this past year to accommodate new platforms & contexts & needs of stdnts & tchrs. "Business as usual" created incredible stress. The answer to that? Mindfulness websites. What we needed was a restructuring of school policies.

A school Superintendent said something profound in his address cancelling school for the next 3 weeks. “In the end, it will be impossible to know if we overreacted or did too much, but it will be QUITE apparent if we under reacted or did too little.” Hear those words my friends.
