Scaling a $1M+/year portfolio of info & consulting companies…

This week I’m focused on how our sales team handles debt collection from prospects on payment plans
We have a lot of TCV (total contract value) to collect
I want a better way than what we’re currently doing… I think it can be optimized
Maybe reframing it as an accountability check in, a few weeks into the program
I’m also working on real tracking around this
(deposit completion rate, how many clients are financing, how much TCV is outstanding, etc)
A couple of this week’s tasks…

We have 6 CSMs/coaches on our offer…
I’ve learned that the handoff from your closers to a CSM is way more important than people think
If a prospect buys expecting the creator and gets passed to a coach with no framing, it feels like they obviously got outsourced
So a couple months ago we started doubling down on how we edify the coaches during the sales process
Now the handoff from sales to fulfillment is seamless
And because the client trusts the coach going in, they actually get better results too

Been on ghk-cu for a couple weeks now
Most people don’t notice results until a couple months in… but I’ve been stacking a few things to speed up the process
1/ Red light therapy (on skin + hair)
2/ Daily collagen supplement
3/ Topical ghk-cu in my moisturizer
Already my hair’s noticeably thicker and curlier (my barber brought it up before I even said anything)
Skin’s clearly more radiant too
Excited to see where this is in another month…

Spent some time in Miami last month with a buddy that does life insurance sales
That kind of sales makes info products look easy…
They’re basically cold calling old veterans (one of the hardest demographics to sell)
No technical knowledge, often not much money…
There are no setters, everything’s a one call close…
And they’re closing on the spot (somehow getting social security numbers and banking info, live on the first call, from a complete stranger)
The skill level of the top reps in that industry is insane
I want my closers taking notes

@ceoofitall1 Most of our traffic comes through an IG DM funnel. Content is in a good spot, but positioning can always be tighter ofc

@chriswray_ Could be a content/nurturing issue. What are you using for organic attribution?

I was reviewing our sales data for June and found a big leak…
Roughly 35-38% of the calls on our calendar are getting canceled or rescheduled
Most of the time it’s leads going unresponsive, and our team cancels internally
But we’re split testing a few fixes moving into July:
1/ More friction, framing, and nurturing before booking
2/ Double booking time slots, with a dedicated rep reshuffling cancels in real time and coordinating with closers
3/ Doubling down on the “hammer them” campaign we have in place
I’ll report back…

Today I redesigned our confirmation page
The old one was already pretty optimized (strong pre-call vid, faq’s, case studies)
But I added a “due diligence video”
Basically a video that openly goes over our dispute rate and the reasons behind chargebacks
It’s such a pattern interrupt… no one expects you to open up about that (especially in the current info market’s trust recession)
Just being willing to talk about your numbers openly builds enormous trust
Excited to see what it does to show/close rates…

I spent this morning staring at the leads in our CRM pipelines
We have hundreds of thousands of dollars just sitting there (no exaggeration)
Old leads, no shows, cancellations, etc
We’ve got follow up SOPs for our closers… but I want to build a real reactivation campaign
Email + sms
We are scaling fast… but I don’t want the high lead volume to hide leaks on the backend
So that’s what I’m working on this week
I’ll share what converts…
