Richardson and another is ill so we’ve used 2 subs. There’s an 8 day period after which they can’t play (so teams can’t just sub people for gain in a match - they will miss the game the week after) The ECB forgot to include a rule for bye game weeks such as next weekend. Probably should have said if a bye the stand down will start from the next playing game week. Next week there is only 4 games and an oppose to the usual 10? . His 8 game stand down starts yesterday so he will become available for the next time we play (in 2 weeks). Billings reckons it’s unfair, which I do have to agree with.
