John Harbaugh using getting fired by the Ravens as past of his commencement speech Saturday at Miami University. Really great message overall on the "amazing powers of caring and encouragement." Gives you some insight into how he handles himself as a coach.

@DrJesseMorse Incredibly unprofessional. Have you seen his imaging? Have you examined him? I guess you are such a good Dr. that you can solve things without ever meeting a patient.

The Mets medical staff isn’t confident that they can get Jorge Polanco’s Achilles bursitis to go away this season. This is concerning to me. With the correct product used, and the correct technique under ultrasound this can be accomplished quite easily. How much money are the Mets spending on their medical staff? 🤦🏼‍♂️ Here’s one I did a couple months ago that resolved about 4-6 weeks despite the patient actively training and competing for a Hyrox competition. Happy to help…

The way Carlos Mendoza spoke about Jorge Polanco just now, it certainly sounds like there’s a real chance this bursitis won’t fully go away this season. The Mets are hoping to get him to a point where he can play through some discomfort, but if he can’t, it sounds like a longer shutdown could be on the table.

From press conferences and a Farmers Forum to the Senate floor, I’ve stood with CT’s farmers. Legislation providing millions in tax credits and grants has now passed both chambers. I urge Gov. Lamont to sign this bill. It’s time we give farmers the support they deserve!

William Holden's acceptance speech for 'Best Actor' award he won for Billy Wilder's "Stalag 17" (1953) was the shortest in Academy history up until that time. He said only four words: "Thank You. Thank You" Holden hadn't meant to be so brief, but the televised TV broadcast of the Academy Awards ceremony was running long, and was about to be cut off the air. Many of the acceptance speeches that night were cut off halfway due to commercials. William Holden expounded his views that night backstage on a system he felt valued commercials over program content. Holden later took out an ad in the Hollywood trade publications thanking the people he had intended to thank in his speech. He also felt that Burt Lancaster or Montgomery Clift should have won the award instead of him for their performances in "From Here to Eternity" (1953) P.S: Remembering the great American actor, William Holden, on his 108th birthday!
