Massive useful idiocy on display here. Hamas effectively had their own state in Gaza and spent 20 years creating terror tunnels rather than becoming the Singapore of the Middle East which they could easily have become had they wanted to. They were not in a ghetto being occupied. Instead they followed their own genocidal charter culminating in Oct 7th which was not an act of resistance, it was an act of pure terrorism. Gaza is not the West Bank so this whole argument goes out of the window. These statements are on a par with the 'Hitler wasn't so bad' history revisionism some people have been saying recently to engagement farm.

If they commit war crimes (and the shooting of those medical people sounds like it was one) then of course, those individuals should be tried and punished. It's important to distinguish atrocities and war crimes, from errors made during a war (e.g. blowing up a building due to bad intelligence thinking there's a target there) vs killing civilians accidentally in the cross fire of a battle in a crowded area. They should all be dealt with on a case by case basis. I don't believe there's a genocide going on though, as the numbers just don't support that theory.
