@bastionofmen @thatqueerkiwi Setting aside the misogyny and how subjective and vague the word 'weaker' is. That's...that's not just a hot take. It's counter to all evidence we know about the human psyche. Perception of weakness does feelings of hatred, and is in fact is linked to it, in many situations.

HOT TAKE: Men aren't capable of actually hating women, because you can't hate something that's weaker than you; it's physiologically impossible, just like an adult cannot hate kids or a wolf cannot hate sheep, but those feminists think so high of themselves they take men's annoyance with women for hate. Pathetically stupid.

@gotrice2024 People are imperfect. Ever think that maybe this man is hurting and doesn’t have a more productive way to express it? Men suffer in silence, often because there are people like you out there just ready to pounce on them and punish them for feeling pain.

This man complains that his daughter stays in her room all day and doesn’t enjoy talking to him and his wife. Whenever she does come down for food or water, he’s always reminding her that when she turns 18 either she can move out or pay rent. I never understood why people do this as a scare tactic to teach kids responsible. Is it possible that his interactions like this is actually damaging his relationship with his daughter. Isn’t he giving her a vibe that he doesn’t want her around or is this a part of teaching her responsibility?

@The8ound @LynLovesCrows @Dave10000000006 Men benefit from non-sexual intimacy and get the same neurochemical feedback loops as women. Differences in emotional range, or experiences, are mainly due to socialization lead perception bias, not an immutable difference in how the brain creates and interprets emotion.

@paladinofluce @_kachibuu @Dave10000000006 And if it's a matter of mismatched libido, there are also a many ways to work together (or on your own) to fulfill needs, sometimes that might look like some form of poly relationship, but that needs to be out of mutual want, not coercion/ultimatums.

@beanbapple It’s not AI. All AI tests i know failed while checking this image. Not only that but there’s no visible macro pixels after increasing the saturation levels meaning this image is not AI. This is a real person.

@CathyReisenwitz Not true. Most men couldn’t rape a child even if they wanted to. Most men couldn’t “perform” with a child. The ones that can are pedophiles.

Most rape is first and foremost about opportunity. Most child rapists aren’t pedophiles. Kids are easier to rape. Disabled women aren’t just sooo much sexier. They get raped at many times the rate of able-bodied women because they’re easier to rape.
Sol 🍂@autumnpard

If rape were only about sex, then those in positions of weakness would not be disproportionally abused (prisoners, people in war zones, disabled people). They want to say that rape is about sex because sex is "natural" and ergo, make a twisted defense on predatory behavior.

@hfkzelda Disabilities are a loss of function. With executive dysfunction, you have the function, but don't use it.

@b1dd0_ What actually is it? What are lab grown cells? What do they contain? How are they grown? What is in this? Nutritionally, what is the contents of this product? Why does it look so weird when he pulls it apart? What is missing that we would gain from eating meat?

If you’re wondering how many illegal immigrants are in the United States, I’ll give you a hint: WhatsApp has 100 million monthly active users in the US. And in a country of 350 million people, somehow we have 410 million active cell subscribers. So the answer is “more than anyone has ever admitted”.

@hecubian_devil Where do you get the idea that a protest is "genuine" despite clear funding and coordination? Ask yourself who has that kind of money and what this investment nets them?

@DanLewisFW @broadwaybabyto Loudly announcing ignorant ideas, not bothering to check into your own bias, and defaulting to said bias instead of questioning it before speaking is both perpetuating, and caused by pervasive prejudice that runs in society against disabled people, and what disability looks like.

The ableism on display is sickening. Disability is dynamic. Ambulatory wheelchair users are incredibly common. Not everyone in a wheelchair is unable to walk. Many use them to save energy. To avoid falling. Because they’re prone to fainting. Because they need support.

@willintaiwan @soigomaa I'm sorry to hear that William. But 'the contradictory theory' has helped with that. We don't raise kids according to Watson and Holt's ideas anymore. That's sorta the point. Other evidence came along, most followed it, job done.

For thousands of years, babies slept with their mothers. When they cried, they were attended to. Then two men came along: Dr. Holt and John B. Watson. They said babies should be trained. That babies had to fit the assembly line schedules of their parents. "Newborns must cry to expand their lungs," they claimed. "Simply let them cry it out." And that's how the "cry it out" sleep training method was born. Watson treated babies like experiments. "Never hug or kiss your child," he wrote. "Shake hands with them in the morning." After all, mothers needed rest, to attend to their husbands and households. Watson had four children. Three attempted suicide. One succeeded. And we still follow it today. Because once you convince a mother to ignore her baby's cries, you've broken something primal.
