@currenteon @that_gg2078 Oh, it's not useless, it's just a lazy shorthand for 'the character doesn't know the setting so it can be exposited to them ad naseum'. The other aspects that might come into play (knowledge from another world) rarely do, or if they do, it's not satisfying. Bad trope.

I think I still have a comic book where Conan and Solomon Kane somehow meet and join forces. during a battle, Conan asks Kane to use his musket again, impressed by it, but Kane says it takes time to reload, then Conan says "hah so this is no better than a bow" and keep hacking and slashing.

@iJesseee @ShieldsClips The real answer, at least in NYC, is that they have their own healthcare providers that those ambulances go to. It's not like ambulances aren't a private business already in the US - probably the same there. Private owned, so they can take whoever they want.

@silviautism @Clownie_Boo @Peko_girlboss Yeah, and removing some weaknesses. They have WAY too many! Ice exists as a punching bag type that, yes, has good attacking moves but it is SE against only TWO types that are covered by water... or fairy/dragon. An ill-conceived type all told :(
