Boston (Lexington), MA: William Diamond Middle School Principal Johnny Cole sent an email apologizing to Arab, Muslim, Palestinian, and Lebanese students who were offended by a mandatory Holocaust lesson. Since when is teaching historical fact something that requires an apology? And why is a school principal validating outrage over Holocaust education instead of defending it?

This was Houston, yesterday. Shia Muslims marching through the streets doing synchronized public chest-beating (matam) during Muharram. We didn’t grow this here. We imported it. This isn’t quiet worship inside a mosque, it’s a deliberate public display of power that's meant to be seen. And it’s spreading. @GregAbbott_TX We have to stop this madness before Texas (and the rest of America) looks nothing like the country we grew up in. Thanks, A concerned American 🇺🇸
